Hi Everyone,

We're off to Madawaska Pond and Quebec Brook in the Santa Clara Tract. This is the real boondocks. Rusty is fine this morning. I think the shot went in. He'll hopefully use his automat while we're out. Back around +10 or so. See you then. We hope everyone will have a good day and are keeping Rocket, Sara, Zen, Moonie, in our thoughts.

I hope you had a great day in the Boondocks! :lol: I'm sure Rusty was a good boy and used his auto feeder while you were gone.

Hi again,
We had a wonderful paddle. Getting there was a challenge, however (10 miles on dirt, stones and roots). It was quite windy and the scenery on Quebec Brook was spectacular (never did get out on Madawaska Pond; had planned to at the end of the paddle, but the wind was fierce). I'm enclosing a picture taken on Quebec Brook, of the lilypads, the grasses and the cotton grass.

Rusty was surfing in green. He was 68 at +9.5 and still 68 at PMPS. He ate all the food in his automat. He enjoyed some outdoors time when we got home and was chasing bugs in the garden. I will keep an eye on him this evening and will stay up until at least +5 to make sure he hasn't gone too low.

Everyone have a good evening. Off now to visit condos.

Hey all Kitties: I'll be at Camp Stu tomorrow afternoon until next Tuesday. Everyone invited to hang out--swimming, paddling, fishing, canoe races, grillin', cookin', singing, etc. Hope to see you! The blueberries are ripe. We can go berrying and Tess can create a wonderful dessert.

WOW!! a 68??? Way to go Rusty! that is just so cool.

the photo is so nice - what a great paddles. not too sure about getting there though - those 10 miles must have been something else... and this was on foot? with a canoe?

Rusty!!! I am already -packed and everything!! I can't wait to come and visit and do all those tings. Sweet - we have so many OTJ's coming up, Camp Stu would be the perfect pace to plan them. YAY!! See you tomorrow! oh and uhhhh.... don't get car sick ~~ Mannie

Oops, sorry! the 10 miles were in the car through deep woods on old logging roads. There was a short portage (1/4 mile) to the put-in.
