BLUE once again, as far as the eye can see. I thought that maybe he night make the greens last night, but it seems Mannie really likes that blue board... and sent the night surfing on it. We have a very nice 159 this morning. Excellent, and good job Mannie! Your bean is very proud of you. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. The Nanner King continues to rule the kingdom. :cool: I had gone hiking yesterday, and when I got home Mannie and the civvies wanted to go outside: major big time. There waswhacking involved :shock: ... something about being first in line to go outdoors :roll: . And the line-up winner?..... ready?..... Mannie! Well, duh. :lol: :lol: He had a great time outdoors: lawn rolling, favorite perch sitting, and the exterior was patrolled, from one end of the yard to the other. Thank goodness that there was no grass eating :-D and therefore no subsequent grass pukus. :cool: :razz: Once satisfied all was well in the kingdom, his majesty returned to the indoors, rearranged the nanners and settled in for a nap. yep - life is good in MannieLand. We had a great test feed shoot this morning - greeted with lots of purrs, as it is every morning. Clean plate cub status maintained, and for once (YAY!) he did not raid the civvie's bowls. :cool: They were waiting though.... that constant head pivot to make sure he wasn't lurking... :lol: :lol: Normalcy, and life is definitely good in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone!! It is "clean the house" day here... it has been neglected of sorts the past few days/weeks... and I really must take care of all those dust bunnies.... oh what fun....

My friends!! What an OTJ party for Angel - we did so good!!! Kitchen krew, you guys are the bestest ever! Angel was so happy... I packed up boxes of leftovers for her to take home and share with her bean and the civvies... YAY!!!!! What shall we do today?? Chill out somewhere - like by a pool or sumthin'? We gots another party to plan for tomorrow: Simon's OTJ! And guess what!! WE GET TO GO TO CAMP STU tomorrow!! SWEET!! See you guys later?? ~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, nice AMPS for Mannie and overall he is looking mighty good! Hope he surfs some nice blues and greens, too! The scenery of your hike is just beautiful, and I will take a look in the signature page, too. How nice that it's that close to your home and it's an easy drive. So funny with Mannie and the civvies and the head turning watching to see if Mannie is going to try and sneak their fuds, no chance!

Hey Mannie, we better get to planning Simon's party and oh boy, Camp Stu tomorrow, and KTSS. It sounds like Gracie's pool is open today, too. I will be waiting for you, Maggie

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - thx: I think he is looking really good too. I really like all the consistent "flat" cycles. That alone is so good to see. -- and yes on the scenery, and the closeness to home of all these places. We are very lucky! Yeah, I have to laugh when the other two keep looking for Mannie, making sure he isn't waiting for their fuds... He sits just around the corner, out of their line of vision,.... waiting.... :lol: :lol:

haha on marjorie and the housekeeper! i like cleaning my house, i just wish it didn't unclean so quickly! today is window washing for me - although it sounds like a dramatic, day-sucking job, i use a squeegee and it'll take me a half hour at the most. swish & zing and done.

I find that I enjoy cleaning much more and feel a greater sense of urgency if I watch a few episodes of Hoarders first. Seriously. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi guys .. yes, green would be nice but these blues sure do look better then some other colors he was sporting for awhile .. glad to hear everyone got a chance to head outside and make sure all was up to their standards .. hope you guys have a great day!

Nothing wrong with a blue surf now and again!!! Glad to see that Mannie hasn't given up whacking duties...gotta keep those civvies in line, after all!!

Love those pictures. I swear, you need to send them in to whatever parks and recreation bureau you've got there. They should be in a magazine advertising about the natural beauty of Washington, the tourist info pamphlets, postcards, all that stuff. What kind of camera do you use because the picture quality is really awesome!!

Hi Jule - thanks on the pics - yep, we do have some mighty fine places here. The cascades are truly quite nice. and you have to be in the minority on cleaning - I wish I liked it more - but noooooo..... those darn dust bunnies: you clean 'em up ad 20 minutes later they are back again... what is up with that? :shock: on the window cleaning. I need a squeegee then. One that reaches up two stories... I know: get a ladder. :lol: :lol:

Hi Patty - thanks on the photos - you are too kind. I have a point and shoot Panasonic Lumix, with an optical zoom. it's great for on the road out in the wilderness stuff: light, compact and it takes really great photos. One of these days I will have a really "good camera", but for now, this will do. -- and yes, the whacking duties continue. I don't know what I'd do if there was no whacking... :lol: :lol:

Hi Melissa - thanks, and that is was: very peaceful. It was quiet when I headed on up there. As I was headed on down, the masses were coming... :shock: :lol: :lol: I passed about 30 of them... it is a popular place... I am so glad for these popular laces that I hike early in the day. -- looks like our blue surf continues. :razz:

The pictures of Lake 22 are just fantastic. Such a beautiful lake. Why doesn't it have a name? In the Adirondacks every lake and pond has a name, even if it is just "Mud Pond" (there are countless Mud Ponds!), or "Loon Lake" (ditto).
Have a fine evening and maybe Mannie will want to visit the Green Lagoon. Rusty hopes to stay green this evening.

I am not too sure on the name.... thought I suspect that it is associated with the milepost marker at this point on the hwy. it is MP22. weird though that they never really named it - it's always been lake 22. :lol:
