? 8/2 Luci AMPS 332,2+220,4+198,7+261, PMPS 257,2+163,4+153 - should I be thinking about an increase?

Yesterday - Cornbread :(

Well, at least last night I was on my toes with the breads, crackers, cookies, desserts...the list could go on and on for the things Luci likes to get in to while we're not looking...I like clean countertops but I have been known to leave breads, etc. out on the counter after dinner... At least I got my act together last night.

Let's hope for a better day today. Mama goes for a root canal this afternoon...oh boy

Thanks, Jamie! Although Luci didn't have a very good day again today:arghh: - I'm hoping all these bad numbers are related to her cornbread episode! Just goes to show you what junk food does to ya?????:facepalm:

My root canal is over - my face/jaw are numb...but that's ok...I'm not looking forward to all the feeling to come back - thinking it is gonna be sore...but that darn tooth has been hurting me for nearly a year - it was time to take the next - and hopefully - final step. Hated to do that and had hoped it would get better. It's been acting up since I had a small filling replaced last October 1...haven't been able to chew on that side since! It's always an adventure around here it seems - next week - a little skin cancer removal at the MOHS clinic in Ann Arbor and then moving my mom's stuff all around to help her get a new hospital bed in place - which I hope will help her. Like I said, always an adventure around here...:rolleyes:

And how is Mr. B doing today? I hope he stayed in the lagoon like a good boy!:D I sure hope Luci feels better tomorrow and does something with this does - otherwise I'm worried I may have to take her back up a notch - she was doing so well - but that could have been due to the depot influence...oh well...like I say, step two, step three, step four...step back two, three, four...dancing the sugar dance...:(

You don't have to wait 6 cycles to see if a reduction fails. If you aren't sure if she is bouncing or the reduction is failing, ask for help. That was one of the hardest things for me to recognize the difference.

Can you help me figure out if she's looking for an increase? Not sure what's going on with her since the cornbread incident on 8/1 - although her PM numbers haven't been very good since 7/31...
 
I agree with Lizzie. A depot is deleted somewhere around the 4th cycle of a reduction. On that cycle she got down to 54 and bounced a bit a and then she got to 70 on the 8th cycle and then on the 10th cycle she got to 65. The cornbread incident happened on the 12th. Carbs can take 72 hours to clear, so I would give her until the end of tomorrow's AM cycle and if she hasn't returned to a green, I would give her an increase.

Thanks for that! :D I'm going to put it on my SS - so I'll remember. Mama is recovering from a root canal - tomorrow am might not be much fun...right now the drugs have me all numbed up...so I feel nothing (thankfully).:bighug:

Hope they are good drugs! Ibuprofen ( along with pain drugs ) around the clock will be your friend to help with inflammation .

All the more reason to wait to increase (if neccessay).

Feel better. All I got to say about dental work is SEDATION. I had to have a lot of work done once (long story, redoing/correction work from a quack). I do perfectly fine with cleaning/6 months check up but no way I was going to sit there through root canal and other work sober for six hours. Lol. When my dentist came at me with the syringe for the first shot and i wouldn't open my mouth, he said "I think you need another dose of the sedation meds - you game?" SURE! Bring it on. Lol. And I was getting gas on top of that! I still remember the whole visit, I just didn't care :blackeye::confused:.

Bella stayed green for 12 hours and that sure made me happy, Luci must have given him a lot of contraband lol but he’s back in full swing, gotta blue this am! He’s waiting for Luci:rolleyes:

I'm so glad to hear that Bella is enjoying his time in the lagoon! Wonderful news!!!:D:D
Luci just isn't feeling cooperative...she got to the blues last night, but I got up and checked her 3 hours later and she was right back up again...I'm starting to think an increase is in order ... bummer :(:(
