8/2 Lilly, PMPS 365, does lantus cause diarrhea/muddy feces?

Hi,

I’ve noticed for the last few weeks, Lilly either has Half liquid feces or just muddy feces.
Didn’t have that problem when we were on novolin.
Another thing, it smells worse than ever.

Is this related to the lantus insulin by any chance or could that be due to food change (we changed to Purina Pro plan Low carb wet food)

PS: None of my other cats have this problem, they’re all on the same diet.

I would say Lilly's tummy ain't liking that switch to Purina

I've never heard of anyone being able to pin diarrhea on Lantus. I would suspect the food change. Did you do it gradually, or all at once? Sometimes, if you switch foods completely, it will upset a kitty's digestive system.
