Another low run last night - I slept like a rock and didn't get up to test, I usually don't get to sleep that soundly so feel much better this morning. I'm not sure how much lower he went than that 84 but I doubt he started falling until about pm+8 or so. He only does this at night when he doesn't eat. I shot that 95 without even batting an eyelash..I remember thinking about shooting a 120 and panicking. Oh what we've learned over the last year!
Leo's figured out that 'out' ain't gonna happen - he's not sitting in the floor hollering this morning altho' he did his share of it last night for a while. He's also not trying to 'bum rush' the door when it opens - I tell him no, he's staying back. He's already looking SO much better after only a week of care - he's gained probably close to half a pound which he desperately needed. His stomach area is still sunk in but it's slowly filling out. The muscles are building nicely too. He's not a small cat - there's probably at least 14 lbs of cat when he gets to his optimal size. He's even holding his tail up waving all the time again - it's damaged about half way up but even it's strengthening and standing better.
Schniggles is about finished her cycle finally! I'm tired of cleaning up behind her but talked to vet about surgery - he agreed that it's not the right path for her due to her smushed Pug nose and restricted throat. They don't do well with anesthesia. We'll just clean up messes every 6 months.
I'm missing Lacey terribly the last few days - both of us have called her sometime over the last week. It hurts when we do it but it's getting better....I was able to finally pass forward her food riser bowl yesterday.
HUGS and thoughts and prayers for all needing them today - special ones for Barb (Tuffy) with broken leg/surgery and for Laura helping two of her babies cross together, Sir Harley and Beautiful Bagheera. Bless you sweet lady for doing what you did for Bagheera.
