yesterday's condo

After a very long day yesterday, it's cloudy and drippy out this morning.. Since it's dark, cool and perfect snoozle weather, now that bellies are full, let the smoozling begin ;-)


ETA...Well that was interesting....my post went poof...that's ok...it's been a slow morning, but I'm sure hoping that +2 is due to new food...or could be a bounce from last nights lows??

Any ideas?

Oh, I don't like it when it's dark and rainy outside. I want to sleep all day on those days! Ha!

Wow on the +2! Is that new food high carb or something?

No, it's a new brand for China though....It's Nutro Natural Choice which are on the "approved" list...from what I understand, changing the brand can sometimes cause some wonkiness...or she could just be continuing up on her bounce from her low last night

I did see the new food list this morning, but it still looks like they'd be good

6% Nutro Natural Choice Mature Health Chicken & Turkey Formula chunks in gravy 204 this selection is being replaced but some stores have a little stock left.
new varieties replacing the old ones are supposedly all 1 or 2% carbs but waiting for confirmation....

Oh, good! I found someone else that uses the word 'wonkiness'. I thought I was the only one! Ha! :lol:

I've always been a big fan of the word "wonky"

There just isn't a better word to explain the un-explainable :-D

There's "wonky"...as in, "the cat is acting wonky today"

There's "wonkiness"...as in "new food wonkiness"

Then there are the lesser known ....Like "wonkified", "wonkiholic" and "wonktastic" :lol: :lol:

I use wonky in quilting land... it means not square and perfect, in a good way.

I have a lot of friends who are getting into quilting, crocheting and knitting lately...I didn't know "wonky" was used there too, but it makes perfect sense. Wonky isn't necessarily bad, it's just different! (and in crafting, those little differences are what make things charming!)

Instead of crafting, I'm perfecting my poke and stab technique...LOL

Maybe at some point, I'll be able to settle down and get back into some of that stuff. I used to enjoy crocheting, but as kids, pets (and now parents) have taken over more of my time, something had to give.


You're more than welcome for the support. I know I've gotten a lot, and that's what makes this board so wonderful

Thanks for the visit Deborah!! Yeah, I'm happy to see her coming down, but sure don't know where she's coming up with these numbers. One cycle she's in the 40's, the next she's in the 400's...and a lot of the time I can't blame a bounce.

It sure would help if I could get her to read the manual!! :lol:

Somehow, I'm not at all surprised by your note in your signature about Shasta being "a very sassy tuxedo cat"....I've met several tuxedo's in my lifetime, and most of them seemed to have the "sassy gene" :-D

Happy to have helped, if only to let you know someone else was with you. It's so nice to know we're not alone in this sugardance!!
