Okay a little higher than I would like her to be on her OTJ trial, but last night we had one bejeeze of a severe thunderstorm with a tornado sirens blaring so I had to round everyone up and herd them to the basement, which of course did not make Ms. Tortietude happy at all since she had to share on of the big emergency kennels we have down there for just such occassion with 4 of her adopted siblings...sigh.
In fact keeping this post short and sweet today as I'm back posting to you all from the Library because I have no power at home at the moment. According to the news this morning we should be fully restored by noon (knowing Hastings I wish they would have said which noon... :roll:
) but apparently we had lightning strike one of the main power stations for my end of town.
I guess what I forgot to tell everyone is one of the reasons right now I'm only back on a part-time basis is because for the last 3 months DH has been working out of town during the week and only home on weekends so this entire circus that I call family life has been on my shoulders, but on the upside it looks like he will be finished with the job sooner than expected in fact they may finish up next week so hopefully I can start being around much more once he is back home every night to help out with the dog walking, animal feedings, lawn mowing, weed pulling, dry wall hanging etc.
Well off to run grab something to feed myself since I have an electric stove so no cooking at home until they give me back my power...lol
