Last night was a disaster. I gave him the oil-based, compounded prednisolone and he gagged big time and stopped eating. That was too bad because he was doing great until that point.  This bean felt terrible, too. He's doing a little better this morning. I went back to the triple-fish flavor (Tillie's) and managed to squirt it all over my face.  I gave him a little more to compensate. I hope he got close to the right dose. The good news is that Anne found prednisolone in tablet form from Wedgewood Pharmacy in NJ! It's a 2.5 mg tablet. Hopefully we will have that in a couple of days. I'm even going to pay through the nose for overnight.
We are celebrating Zener's birthday this week!
We don't know exactly what day he was born, as he was a rescue. We brought him home at the end of September and he still had blue eyes. We have always said that his birthday is Aug 26 since I was born on June 26 and Tillie was born on April 26. So just to cover all of our bases, we are celebrating all week! The culmination will be when Anne gets home on the 26th, 7 more darks (4 paddy paws, 2 ears and a nose).
The kitties still think that's a lot.
OT: I haven't heard Tillie sneeze for a few days (anti-jinx). I haven't had the air filter on either.
Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. Special comfort vines to Lyresa and DH this morning as they mourn the passing of KT, it's a sad day in LL. Special vines to Amy's DF as he gets the port installed and starts chemo treatment. Wishing everyone in LL a fantastic Tuesday.
