Green start today! His numbers improved over the course of the night. Feeling pretty good today. Let's hope they hold.

Where did this 137 come from? I wonder if he's not feeling well again. He may be a little constipated. Would that cause a jump in BG?

Yep! We didn't do that yesterday during the day since he had just produced a hairball and I wanted his stomach to settle. His numbers came down on their own in time for the PMPS, however. But today he has a high midday value. Not sure what's causing that one.

The constipation could be causing the higher number. Some people have reported their cat's numbers go down after they poo.

We gave him a 4ml glycerin enema at +11 which immediately relieved his little issue. He's down to 119 for his PMPS which isn't much of a drop, but that's not too surprising since he did NOT enjoy that procedure. It made him growl the BAD growls. Poor little man! But he's feeling much better now.

I'm becoming a little concerned about these higher numbers. He was acting fine earlier, but is just sleeping now. :sad:

We got a nearly 50 point drop in one hour even with 40ccs of food? I'm just not getting what's going on here.
