Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty was high (for him) all day yesterday and is still high this morning, but hopefully will get back to better numbers today. He ate all his nighttime food (pretty close to when we got up, I think). This morning's test and shot went well, and he ate about half of his breakfast, saving the rest to graze on. He's chillaxing in his little bed by the (cold) radiator.
We were "absent from class" yesterday and will be today, too. It's another beautiful late summer day: in the 40s this morning with sunshine. We will be going for a walk this morning and then to the mountain-club picnic/cook-out this afternoon. It's hard to keep up with the board while my friend is here, but I'll be able to post Rusty's number at +5 and then at PMPS (we will eat and run at the cookout so as to get home in time for PMPS). It will be a great day to be among the High Peaks and I'm very glad that we will be able to introduce my friend to this experience. (The High Peaks are awesome from a distance, but being right "there" is something else entirely.)

Hoping that Rusty comes down nice and easy for you while you're taking your friend out on all sorts of amazing adventures! Maybe Rusty just wants you to know that you have permission to frolick in the mountains?!
