Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is continuing his bounce (yellow for the first time in days). He had a good night, ate all his nighttime foods, had a good test, shot, breakfast, lung treat, but didn't want to schmooze this morning because he knows we're going on a paddle. Oh well, he'll enjoy napping in "his" chair on the porch after it warms up a bit. And when we get home this afternoon he'll get his outdoor time.

The squirrels and chipmunk haven't been much in evidence lately and I think the reason is that we have a red fox! I saw him/her the other day, trotting along the "deer highway"--a beautiful animal. Rusty knows the fox is around and doesn't go far from the house. The birds, however, are unfazed by it all: the feeders are busy, busy.

Wishing you all a good day today. We'll be back in the late afternoon. Rusty will have lunch served by his automat. We are paddling "The Route of the 7 Carries" with our Monday Paddles group. Beautiful ponds and outlets linked by 7 portages, the longest of which is only 1/2 mile. It's a beautiful paddle and we've been looking forward to it.

Poor little Rusty! Sounds like his nose is a little out of joint this morning. cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon He'll be happy when you get home and then he'll want his schmooze.

Rusty, dude... your beans is going out??? Let's see if the kittehs want to get together and head over to the tree house! I bet we can play on the zip lines and make some cookies. See you in a sec. ollie

No more bouncing Rusty! Come on down big guy. Lots to look at outside with all the wildlife getting busy for winter. We have fox near us and they are beautiful.

I got my Allerplex in the mail! Woohoo! I need to figure out how to give it to him now. Can I sprinkle it in his food? Tarragon is so picky about treats.

Hi Ella, we are back! Happy to see you enjoying the padding while Rusty behaving with that leave home permit for you :lol:

They do make it obvious that they are mad when you are leaving don't they :lol: I hope you have fun on your paddle and a nice cuddle after with Rusty:)

Hey Rusty,

You have an automat! Wow! I've never seen one. How does it work? Is it fun? Will you share with me? I love new toys and gadgets and things. Did you see Ollie got a new special bus! And we need to plan a party in it! I think it even has a kitchen, so you can do all the cooking in the bus! Won't that be fun!

I wonder if we can attach a zip line to the bus.....hmmm that's something to consider.

Let's play in the treehouse, you bake the cookies and I'll eat them. OK!

I hope Rusty clears the bounce soon. I bet he'll be glad to see you when you get home and want that schmooze. I hope your paddle was good.

Hi again,
Rusty didn't clear the bounce, but at least he stayed more or less "in place". He was so happy to see us when we got home that he scarfed 'n barfed his chicken treat! (He'd finished his breakfast, but apparently slept through lunch and snack (both of which were in the automat and untouched). Then he was hungry, so he ate some Paw Lickin' chicken. And, best of all, had a good combing, which he really enjoyed.

We had a fabulous paddle. The weather was perfect, the water was beautiful, there was a stiff wind, but I like that (when you're paddling into a stiff wind it seems like you're really going fast because the water is coming at you).

To visit some condos now. HOpe all is well in LL,

You have such nice neighbors - beautiful wild creatures!!!
I have skunks... :-x And there are many people walking their bogs.... and BOMB..... Poor doggies.
I'm happy to hear you had a nice day and Rusty enjoyed his chicken, paw lickin' chicken and combing. :-D
Now please get over the bounce soon, Rusty.
