Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is continuing to come down from the fur shot and we hope to see some more typical Rusty numbers today (of course, all depends on Rusty). Woke up this morning to head butts and kisses. Good test, shoot (I hope) and breakfast. We had a brushing/grooming, and a brief play and a nap is now is progress. It's a cloudy, foggy morning here, but the fog will lift soon and it is supposed to be a nice day. I need to scout out (in the car) a bike ride I am leading next weekend when my NYC cycling friend is visiting. The ride is about an hour from here. I'll take my bike along and "try out" some of the hills. I've only done this ride once and don't remember the details. Otherwise it will be a day of laundry, shopping, and baking for the Mt. Club annual picnic on Sunday.

Great start for Rusty!! Sounds like it is busy at your place as usual. Hope your weather is good for your bike ride and that you get all of your other tasks done today!

Come on Rusty, back down to the greens, you need to show off for the visitors! Have a great ride Ella, don't take them up too many hills (mountains? :twisted: )

Looking well there Rusty! Glad to see nice low blue, so Rusty will be green in no time now!Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! :-D

Sounds like Rusty had a perfect morning, breffis, brushing, play and nap time......ahhhhh the life of a cat! :lol:

Hi again, I hate to say it, but it looks like it was another fur shot this morning!! It didn't seem like it at the time, but the evidence is in the numbers.
I was out all afternoon checking out the bike route I had planned to do next weekend. It's a good thing I did: one of the roads was totally ripped up for 4 or 5 miles, and the rest of the route was more hilly than I think the group is willing to do. I'm glad I decided to do the scouting in the car and didn't get hung up in that roadwork! So we'll have to do a different ride a week from tomorrow.
Rusty and Edward had a nice afternoon with lots of time outdoors.
Now, we can start, maybe, to get back to Rusty's normal numbers. I'm almost certain I didn't do a fur shot tonight!!

Everyone have a good evening and a fine start to the weekend. Off now to finally get to some condos.

Nah, not a furshot, Ella... I think our boys are conspiring!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Glad you were able to scout the route for your ride... road construction and folks not up for hills would have made for an unpleasant trip next week! I'm sure you'll come up with a great alternative!

I am so glad that you were able to scout out the route before you rode it - I an only imagine on the construction, and the hills... I am sure you will come up with a good alternative.

Hi Ella: I've missed visiting your condo this week and hearing about your daily life which always enthralls me!!!

Sorry about the durn fur shots!!! The good thing about Rusty is he doesn't go too terribly high and still stays pretty much in healing numbers.

Sorry about the bike route that isn't going to work out. What are you taking to the picnic??

Rusty...WHAT was in that dough???? I ate too much pizza and boy am I paying now!!! Tobes is in a pizza coma but he said he would definitely have room for some of Auntie Ellabean's cimmamun cake if she's making it!
 
Wow, Rusty came down nicely tonight. He's where he was at AMPS. Maybe it was just a fluke.

Marje, I just made a batch of cranberry/walnut/chocolate chip cookies to take to the picnic on Sunday. They are really good!! (only the 2nd time I've tried this recipe. I had cranberries from last fall in the freezer, so I used fresh cranberries). Sorry, Tobey, no cinnamon in these!! (but I'll save one for you anyway).
