YAY! A yellow amps - I'll take that, sure beats that unmentionable pmps from yesterday. :-D For today I hope for just a nice yellow surf - as, paws crossed, I would like to go to a mountain lake near Snoqualmie Pass. We shall see what his +1 is, and then decide. I should be back for Mannie's +10 .

One happy kitty this morning - he must like the 200's better than the 400's - very active this morning. He's been very busy securing the interior premises. We've had morning cuddles, rubs and scritches. Breffis #1 consumed. He's checked out my hike gear, with that "uh - you going somewhere look", followed by the rub on my pack. Guess it has been approved.

Have a great day everyone - I hope to be able to visit condos when I get back.

257 @ +1 - I have fed a 7/8% FF, hopefully this will help Mannie hold the yellows for a bit. DH is home to feed the +2, +3, and keep an eye on him. Hopefully we shall be good to go, and I will try not to worry while I am on my .....

Be a good boy Mannie, OK? No diving or anything until I get home.... paws crossed.....

Hi all! You probably will be right Ann - Looks like maybe he has a steady slow descent while I was gone. Guess I will never know, but I think I am glad that I had DH feed him the 8% this morning. Now that I am back - he knows the drill. :?

And thanks everybody! Hike was great - lake was very nice. But boy oh boy - that one was a worker: 13 miles, and 3400 feet gain. I need more food!

Very nice pmps for Mannie. I hope he will surf tonight and stay off the trampoline & bungees. Your hike sounds lovely, but probably a little too much for me. ohmygod_smile You must be very fit, Michelle.

Hi Michelle, What a great sounding hike,--a real challenge! Enjoy your dinner (hope you're not too tired to eat!). It looks like Mannie had a good day today. I hear that he was here at camp with Stu, Tess, Shadow and Raja and some of the other kitties. Don't know what they cooked, but I think they had a good time hanging out and hunting mice, and doing some surfing, too. Repeat performance tomorrow, so make sure to send him over.

Hey Mannie, Wasn't it fun mousering? The mousemeat balls were good, I think, but we need to work on the seasoning. Maybe Spotty will show up tomorrow with his spices. Great PMPS, man! Mine was good, too! See you tomorrow.

Hi ELe - not too sure if I'd say I was fit, but I do love to hike, and over the years have developed the legs where I can do and do some of the harder stuff. No cliff or mountain or scambling hiking for me though... that's for the younger, and sometimes crazier, generation. It was nice though - very very pretty there. and now I am beat. :-D happily beat.

Hi Ella - it was - that last part was - "are you kidding me" type stuff: steep, talus slopes, rocky, omg - but the end result was worth the effort that it took to get there. Would have been better maybe if the sun had come out - cloudy, but that alone sometimes can be very nice on the eyes - makes for great photos when you are hiking in the clouds.

HEY STU! I had a BLAST today at camp. I will be over tomorrow too. the mousemeat balls were good - but yes on the spices - i wrote Spot tonight and asked him to come tomorrow. I hope he can. See you later - gotta run - me bean is after me with one of those pokey thingies - again! And thanks man - I like these blue numbers.

108 @ +2 - yep looks like my guy decided to save some of the fun for me for tonight. Go Mannie! will test again at +3

57 @ +3 - and here we go. Fed 1 tsp HC, will test again in 30 minutes.

HAHA - yep we seem to have a night drop - he waited and waited and waited for me to get home today. and when i do? voila! :twisted: time for a drop - we'll show her - let's keep her up all night -works for me - i napped all day. Mannie! I love ya. but your bean is REALLY tired tonight....

Roni - I will wait until the 40's - and then I really want to make sure he earns it, so will also ask 3 drops like that before I reduce. He has such a tendency to drop low, and not really hold that, so.... though of late, things are improving.

Hi Miriam - no you are not going crazy, and it is not your very tired eyes... the first post series of numbers is small - they're from yesterdays recap. I've just always listed them (yesterday's) small, just in the interest of space, if that makes any sense... they rest of the post should be OK though... i think.... i dunno.... fatigue rules here at the moment.

Thanks Pamela! It has been a good one for Mannie. nice to see - YAY! But I do think we have a little more to go tonight. He keeps going back and forth, no real climb yet... :?

AND ONE SNEAKY KITTY! He wants out so bad tonight :shock: there is this small hole in the screen door - golly gee - he managed to make it a big hole and out he went. :evil: so there I am in the dark with the flashlight looking for a dark cat. omg. found the sneaky little devil walking in the azaleas. :YMSIGH: I hated to bring him in, he was so in his element. Funny - when I picked him up he let loose with one big sigh. poor guy! maybe tomorrow Mannie....

bad bean - dozed thru the 5.5, got he 5.8, though it looks like it wouldn't have mattered much, as we are still hovering in the low 60's. Will test at +6.5, and I hope he's up some, without anything lower, so I can go to bed. plleeeaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeeeee Mannie, OK?

lucky - not much longer here - I can always have DH feed, and hopefully I will get up in a few just to spot check. he, dh that is, stays up late, but can't test.

and normally yes Mannie is past nadir - well it should be about now.... I hope he stays true to form and the next one is up. paws crossed!
