ty mel. i did it back on 7/4 i think it was? i do/did it any time it was a morning. thot there was another time? not sure. the thing is he dropped abt 150 points ovrnight. i dnt undrstnd how erratic his #s r. he usually goes up, so this shd be safe. but thre ws tht day a few days ago, he dropped 100 points in 6 hrs! if he had strtd at 80 something...minus 100.....he would have died i gss? if not treated? is it 50 where u give HC food and start to worry? if he was higher/highest at ps and lower in the middle, i wd nvr be so concerned, but he has no real pattern, and is all over the place with no seeming rhyme or reason. with a cat whos fairly predictable and has some kind of pattern (he used to hv more of a pattern evn if not a desirable 1) u can at least hv an idea how they may react.

At 50 you start steering the curve with food. Just a tsp of his regular LC food and he earns himself a .25u dose reduction.

p.s. laura, today was a miracle for mama! he has slept on the bed mostly, and its a dream for me. hes SO sleepy AND on the bed, and still, so i dnt hv to aim at a HUNGRY, restless, anxious, MOVING target on the ground like usual. its great! yay! only drawback...waking the sleeping prince......he looks so adorable, but odd, not used to him being a normie, and hes not either. i wonder how he feels?
