Why am I starting out this post with Fudgie the Whale, you might ask?

One, because I fudged up Jenks' numbers by coming in a little too hot with the syrup earlier, and

Two, it resulted in a whale of a starting number.

All joking aside, either Jenks was carb sensitive this morning leading to the 80 point jump, or he was regular carb sensitive and began coming up on his own like he did yesterday. Either way, we're probably higher than we would've been.

Now we'll just wait to see if he sticks it out and starts heading higher from here, or if he'll take a dip once the carbs wear off and do "who knows what" from there.

Now I'm craving ice cream cake....darn it.
 
He was in the upper 100s at +3. That's not a great sign. While I don't expect a higher than normal PMPS, it may mean that he's going to spend the bulk of the day in a number range where I don't want him. But whaddya gonna do?
 
A barely yellow reading after touching down in the 40s right before AMPS? Heck yeah we'll take it! That's a better reading than we get on days when he's not spending several hours in the green overnight. Yay Jenks!
 
Jenks isn't exactly known for his consistency, but this is the third night in a row where he's in the 60s at +7. Pretty much overnight he decided to stop having a nadir at PM+15 and instead have quick drops in the first half of the PM cycle that he just rides out until AMPS. So weird.
 
He's still hanging out in the upper 60s with 90 minutes to go untll AMPS. Looks like we'll let him ride it out.
