Yesterday's condo

Well we're off and running again today! China's doing great...all the P's are in place and she's having a really good morning. She does seem to be hungrier than usual though...and has her "Purr-er" set at Max...she's been sitting on my leg most of the morning purring so loud I had to turn up the TV (when she really turns it up, it's hard to believe such a big noise can come out of such a small cat)

The general impression I'm getting is "Hey, mom...here I am..I'm purring! Aren't I cute? Don't you just love me? I love you!... Don't you think I should have some more fuds?"!!!

Who could deny that sweet face? Of course she got more fuds!....LOL Sometimes I wonder if the fact she does get small meals all day have some effect on her BG (in a bad way) but she doesn't eat a lot at any one time (her AM and PM are her biggest meals and I usually can't get her to eat a full 1/2 can (of a 3oz can)

I know small meals throughout the day are the only way I can get enough food into her though....I still wonder if she's actually eating enough. She's at 10.6lbs and only eats about 1 1/2 3oz cans in a 24hr period

I think we're clearing the bounce!! :-D

Will have to see how she does tonight, but she's been coming down so nicely today...not too fast!

Maybe Kitty should drop in and have a serious heart to heart with China!! Give her some tips!!

I think the vet and I agree that Kitty probably isn't diabetic, but it was the prednisone shot she received a while back that brought her BG way up. Once the prednisone was out of her system, she went back to normal numbers. I'm not too sure what caused it, I'm just excited that she doesn't need shots! :mrgreen:

Kitty will still always be on a low-carb, wet diet, just in case!

I'll be praying for some nice surfing and no bouncing for China. I hope you can get some good, replenishing sleep now that China's numbers are looking good!
 
Here we go again! I have no idea why or how we got a 300 after coming down all day and not going below 160 :sad:

I think China is trying to drive me crazier than I already am

No, when we started this adventure, I went around the house at a "cat's eye view" to make sure there was no contraband she could get into...and she's been snoozing on the couch with me pretty much all evening.

That's what makes this so much more confusing! The 161 sure shouldn't have caused another bounce, but I guess anything is possible with China!
