8/19/17 Amethyst Mom Says THANK YOU

Having a FD kitty is stressful. Having a higher dose kitty stuck in higher numbers, even more so. You are doing a great job with Amethyst and this is the best place for support cause no one else "gets" it like the people here. :bighug::bighug:

I have anxiety also. Lack of sleep increases this issue. Be sure to take care of yourself too! Kitty cats are pretty resilient animals and tend to go with the flow of how their humans feel - so if you are stressed they can pick up on that. Deep breaths and post here when ever you need moral support.
 
I think this dance has caused a lot of us to join the anxiety club. I NEVER had a problem until this sugardance started.
You are in good company and you are doing a great job.

Glad we've found each other.

ETA: My attacks are in the middle of the night and I have to use controlled breathing to work through it. I think there will be lots more peeps to share.

My anxiety was mostly related to being a smother. My human kids and my Shadow worried me constantly.
I did the cyclical worry thing, but meds have mostly helped that now. Figured it out at age 50.... when my newly turned 18 year old daughter up and left at the worst time in my life, and her boyfriends/husband 's family had her convinced I was "toxic" and unredeemable....
It took 2 years for her to come to her senses, ( and now divorced from that boyfriend, Yay!)
At the same time my DM died and my DGM had a stroke from that and I had just moved them to my town.


Lots of us here have major health issues or deal with such....
So you have full sympathy here.....

Thank you and to add to the stress FB disabled my account and I do not know why??? I am praying I can still access here

Pam guess what I have anxiety too, I am actually off sick right now because of it. Should be back to work in a few weeks...... so no worries looks like a lot of us understand.
Good news for me, what was giving me anxiety was work, and I just got a fantastic offer for a new job on Thursday :) so I am doing much better. This place and the people here also helped a lot, just the shear support and the hand holding from some great members, when I was too overwhelmed to really understand what to do. :bighug::bighug::bighug: for you :bighug::bighug::bighug: more hugs for doing a fantastic job keeping up with Amethyst needs :cat:
 
GOOD LUCK at your new job!!! What causes my anxiety is not being able to work and dealing with financial hardship all the time. THank God for the support here and for DCIN support Amethyst would have died if it were not for them helping me with her insulin and syringes.Her Asthma and Glaucoma make her monthly expenses almost $800 a month and my income is SSDI $1017.Thank you for being here:bighug:
 
I don't have a FB account. Don't need the drama and gossip in my life :D. I contemplated getting one for access to the FDMB account but never did.
 
I used FB to read the Feline Diabetes Group and to connect here THANK GOD Facebook has nothing to do with here. I do not know why they disabled my account??? I only belonged to CAT GROUPS. There are a lot of TROLLS they should be picking on, not me!!!

They disabled all of my account It started last Monday when they logged me out and said that there was suspicious on goings with it????? I emailed them all week asking what and why?? Today I tried to log in and was told I was disabled I submitted an appeal and was told they would get back to me.I only use it to follow Feline Diabetes and access here. Thank God I can access here thru my email notifications.

I'm sorry this happened to you, Pamela, but you don't have to worry about such a thing happening to you on FDMB. They only disable people that cause trouble for other members and/or don't follow the rules.
