Just posted this in relaxed lantus. Zeus is bouncing today, which I guess I expected, but still didn't like to see. Thanks for the suggestions last night.

Have a nice day

The link in your first post goes right back to today's post.

Come on down, nice and easy Zeus.

Thanks Dyana, I think I fixed the link so that it refers to last night's post.

Ah, much better. Now, I can read that.
I once had someone PM me to let me know I was adding a link to someone's condo

Re: 8/18 Zeus Amps 441

I just read your yesterday's post. I use medium sized stainless steal or ceramic dog bowls mostly, and the two cats still switch bowls even though the get the exact same food. I too, have been wondering lately (for weeks) if my cats are getting tired of the Fancy Feast, and they get like 15 different varieties  Sometimes, I have to add toppings, to get them to eat. Sometimes I warm it up. Sometimes I serve it on a flat plate. The one place they seem to like the novelty off, I guess, is I'll often serve their 2nd Dinner to them outside on the cement porch steps around 8:00pm right as it's starting to get dark. They like that service. Silly cats.
I had my vet send out for a Spec fpl test to find out J.D. has cronic pancreatitis. He gets pepcid for acidy tummy (clear barf in the mornings) and ondansetron for nausea, and I give him once a week B12 shots.

Lol!! I just went back to read your previous condo, too. My civvie, Gizmo is a sloppy eater. I think he slobbers food around on purpose. He comes back later to clean up the crumbs. Gabby is a charter member of the clean plate club. She will clean her bowl and Gizmo's!!

Dining by star light, so cute... and spoiled ;-)

The new Vet on Thursday did a whole bunch of tests, I don't know if the Spec fpl test was included, but she did mention that she was concerned that the vomiting could be caused by something else such as pancreatitis and something that started with a C, can't remember what it was now, cushings maybe? Does that make sense? I don't know. She gave me Cerenia pills for the nausea. All tests came back really good, and she was pleased with all of the results. She did also send out for a urine culture just to rule out a UTI, should know in a few days. She's supposed to send me a copy of all the results - which our current vet never did. I was really only going to go to the new Vet for a consultation/second opinion, but I really liked her and am thinking about making the switch - except that it's not as convenient as it's 20 - 30 minutes away, where the current vet is only a mile away.

If Zeus would clean up the crumbs afterward, I'd be so happy. There is always bits of food on the floor and on the mat that I put the bowl on.... and I don't mean a little bit here and there, the mat is usually covered with little bits, and several more on the floor as well. Little stinker. I had a dog like that as well, he'd always pick up a mouth full and then drop it on the floor before eating it. So funny. Good thing we love 'em.

Re: 8/18 Zeus Amps 441

My girl pushes 1/3 or 1/2 of her meals off her plate and I have to pick it back up and put it on the plate.
She still wants to eat it but it's out of reach for her. I think it's because of her fangs being gone.
I think losing the fangs made eating a lot more difficult, I know it affected her ability to bathe.
Cats don't stick their tongues out to eat like a dog.
