Zener has eaten pretty well this morning, still carry-over from the vet's abdominal exam yesterday.
He got another dose of prednisolone which still made him gag. The pharmacist said it is bitter. Any suggestions about how to give it? Last night I just squirted the whole 0.5 ml to the back of his throat (not a good idea). This morning, I gave it more slowly but I think I put it on his tongue instead of off to the side away from the taste buds. This really surprised me as Tillie loves this stuff, she thinks it's candy.
I have a vet appointment for Friday (yesterday was walk-in hours) that I'm going to keep so Dr. Miller can show me how she does the abdominal exam. Every time Zener has gone to the vet in the past 3 years, he's always ready to eat when we get home. We've tried tummy massages (helps a bit) but there's something that we are missing.
OT: Anne will be home in 8 more darks. I told the kitties that was their paddy paws, their ears, their nose and their tail and they said that was a lot. I kind of agreed but at least it's countable to them now.
Sending many comfort vines to Lyresa and DH as they mourn the passing of KT this morning. He put up a brave fight and now it's time to rest. Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Amy's DF, Tricia and civie Sasha, Molly's DF, Wendy's DM and DA, and others. Happy Monday, LL!

ETA: I fixed the subject line and we gave 100 ml of fluid around +6.
