Yesterday's Pee Peerific Condo

Willie started a bit high today but was already coming down nicely at +2. We'll be looking at his dose tomorrow... he's getting a nice green surf each day, though I'd like to get these morning preshots down into healing range numbers if possible. Lots of BTB cuddles were had today.

Got the protein:creatinine ratio test back. Willie is at 0.1, meaning he's non-proteinuric which is a very good thing. Won't have the C&S back for a few days.

Busy week at tbp... will try to get to some condos tonight! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Hi Christie, little Willy is looking good and glad the test results for the one were good. Mags is also in the early stages of kidney disease. Sending good vines for the urinalysis. Hope your day went well.

Good news on the test results and a nice +2 drop there. Paws crossed for the C&C. In January after Tess's UTI our vet did the cystocentesis, but did a test for bacteria in house. Since nothing showed up, they did not send the sample out for C&S, saving us the cost of the test. Apparently C&S is needed to identify the type of bacteria for treatment, but the in house test could accurately show if there was no infection. Did your vet do a basic test in house?

Well, I was hoping for a low number, but THAT was unexpected!!

Ann-- The in-house test showed a tiny bit of bacteria, but it wasn't a clean catch. Plus, the higher RBC count the in-house test showed could be a sign of infection; that's why we did the C&S.

I'm a bit concerned. Came home tonight to a giant floor to ceiling crack down the middle of my living room wall that was definitely not there before.

Geez, I'd get someone in to do a good inspection. If it is structural whoever signed off on the pre-sale inspection and the seller should be responsible.
