Hi Everyone,

Stu had a good night, but didn't finish all the food in his automat. All seems to be OK and Stu is coming down from his AMPS somewhat gradually (for him!). Ps in order. Pill given in butter and apparently taken. We'll get another bg test before we leave (in about 1/2 hour). Will leave out food in the automat. More later, Everyone have a good day. Thinking of Checkers and Austin hoping all is well with both those kitties.

p.s. Forgot to say that we'll be out on a canoe trip all day. Back in the late afternoon, in time for +9 or +10. R&R!!!

STU!!!! DUDE!!!! We have the same amps - well almost. I am a 356. I hope to be yellow soon - maybe we can hang out today - what with your beans gone in their boat thingie. We could explore and visit the lake and stuff. See you soon? ~~ Mannie

The August Green Corn Moon...instead of sturgeon.
So, Raja is bugging me to get into greens ...she is a real pest!
She is decorating in green and wants all kitties to wear green even if
they are not on that floor...just for the party...so think GREEN my man!
What are some green foods?

Hi Ella,

Hope you had a very relaxing day paddling in the canoe. Sounds like a lot of fun. Your lucky that Stu will eat the pill. I'm having a time with Sara's baytril. She'll eat the tapozine [actually its the generic] but the other I have to wrap her in a towel. :?

Hope you got your batteries recharged.

Hi again, Everyone,
Thank you all for checking on Stu while we were away for the day. It looks like he may have had some good numbers. +10.5 was 186, so he was at least in blue! (But bounced up by PMPS, as is his pattern these days.) We had a fine paddle with 12 friends. Did about 10 miles on 4 lovely large ponds with short portages between them. One of the "portages" was an old railway culvert--a pipe through which we walked, pushing the canoes in about 2 inches of water. Weather was cloudy and cool.
Stu was itching to get outside when we got home and enjoyed chasing moths. He had a "combination platter" of Cowboy Cookout and 95% Turkey & Turkey liver for dinner. The Cowboy Cookout is going to run out before we get back from "camp", so he'll have to make do until I can get to Plattsburgh again (or maybe I'll order some online). Now we are all settled in for the evening. Stu is in the laundry basket, DH is doing his yoga exercises, and I am on the board. Tomorrow we'll go down to the cabin for a couple of days (have hardly spent any time there this summer). But it's not very far, so I won't have to get stuff together until the morning.

Nice paddle Ella - I love the portage through the culvert. It's things like this that make outings etc memorable. Sounds like fun - with nice lakes.

Good day for Stu - I had thought the same for Mannie until I got his pmps at 485 :shock: omg, and far cry from yesterday's at 55. oh well, hopefully both our boys will come down soon enough. Have a great evening!

Sounds like you had a fun filled day, Ella. Even Stu had fun when you got home. My cats only get to chase flies and moths in the house. :-D

Not a bad PMPS Stu, but you can do better than that. Mama bean promises to get more Cowboy cookout!
 
You need a few peaceful days since what you have been through the last week!
Go enjoy at the cabin--Stu usually drops to nice numbers when you go there!
