Good Morning Everyone,

It looks like Rusty's shed has been refilled and I hope that he will come down to normal numbers today. We'll be out all day (until PMPS), so I won't know until then. He'll have his lunch and +9 snack in his automat. The shot this morning was a good one (I hope!!!). We all had a good night and I woke up to kitty kisses. Rusty knows we're going to be out today and has taken up his place on the couch. I expect he'll be waiting in the mud room when we return. Vermont Classical is on the radio. Rusty knows about "holding the fort", but while he holds the fort he'll undoubtedly be out with the gang today, having fun.

Some friends from the Canoe Outing are camping near here and we and another couple are going to paddle with them today and then have an early potluck grill at their campsite.

Everyone have a good day. Thoughts and prayers for Garland, who is having a rough time but who is in capable hands.

Nice numbers for Rusty this morning! Glad he is there to hold the fort while you are gone. :-D Charlie, Tarragon and Turnup listen to NPR in the kitchen and have Animal Planet on the tv in the living room while we are gone. Funny how they get used to the routine.

Have a great time on your paddle and at the potluck!

Hi guys .. sounds like a nice day for everyone in your neck of the woods .. I never took rusty for the classical type  Have a great day guys!

Re: 8/18 Rusty AMPS 161

Yes guys, Rusty was introduced to Classical at my house. All the benefits of Boston's WGBH radio and now their all classical station.

Re: 8/18 Rusty AMPS 161, PMPS 157

Hi again, everyone,

We had a great day on the water: a windy, twisty, river (the North Branch of the Saranac) with lots of beaver dams to get over and the only place we could find to eat lunch was in a glen of primordial forest (almost impossible to walk in). Getting back into my canoe my foot got stuck in the mud and I almost lost my sandal (had to dig down about 6 inches into the mud to find it!!). The picnic at the campground for dinner was lovely.

Rusty was happy to see us when we got home, just in time for PMPS. His number suggests that he was in the lower blues today and then came to the mid blues for PMPS. Hopefully the consequences of the fur shot yesterday will be all gone by tomorrow. Fingers and paws crossed. He is busy grooming his coat at the moment.

I'm really tired and feel the effects of too much sun and wind, so I don't know how many condos I'll get to tonight. I may just veg out in front of the tube for a few hours.
Thanks for visiting Rusty's condo today. Yes, I think he does like Classical music and seems to have been well schooled by Claudia!

Another nice couple cycles for Rusty tonight... he's recovering nicely! Your trip sounds lovely... so glad you got your sandal back!! Love that Rusty is a classical music conniseur. Willie used to watch animal planet, but when we got the fancy tv, the electricity was just too much to run all that time, and I don't even have a radio!

Rusty! Gettin de gang togedder for a late nite dip at de lagoon! See ya then! --Willie

Come on down Rusty - looking for those greens!

wow - what a nice day you had - it sound very nice, though that is alot of beaver dams to deal with. And your sandal - 6" of mud? Kudos to you for going after it! love the lunch spot... all in all it sounds like a wonderful paddle.

Seems too that Rusty held down the fort just fine... The gang made sure all was secure before they whisked him away.
