Morning ~O) ~O) always need lots of it! Maggie needs a dosecrease, but today may be hard, as I may be in and out. Maggie was very chatty last night wanting me up. I looked at the clock, and it was only 11 pm!! I fell back asleep for a couple hours. Maggie is doing well with her appy, purry, not playful lately. I think the heat is getting to her. I do have the wall a/c on, but I think I need to clean the filter. No prezzies yet for Inspector Poo, but the day is young yet, and she did deposit a nice prezzie yesterday! The Vet did return my phone call and we discussed a couple things. He confers with another Vet there that has more experience with sugar kitties. He would like us to work with the Miralax more and keep the Lactulose as a reserve med for now. Melanie & Racci had a good suggestion with syringing the Miralax mixed with water. Well, wish I could just veg out here with Maggie, but I have laundry if I can get a machine. Last Saturday there was a little argument with two tenants on who got there first and would get the last machine. :roll: Healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Love the argument over the washing machines... :roll: :roll: indeed. I hope you will fair well today, have all the machines you need, a vacant laundry room! :-D

Good luck too the with dosecrease for Maggie, when you decide to go ahead with that. Maggie - more juice for you! :cool: Love the chatty kitty at 11PM. Maggie....no girl... not a time to be a talker. I hear you too on the hat getting to the kitties - I know it does Mannie. He's rather subdued when it is hot like that. It will be nice for us to begin to return to our normal temps today. I am glad too that your vet did return your call, and that you guys haev a plan in place. YAY! Nice idea too on the Miralax mixed with water via syringe. Worth a try I think.

Hi Michelle, I know on the last washer! :roll: Thanks on today with the washers. I think the heat does make our kitties drag a bit, just as it does us. I'm glad your weather has calmed down. We have fires, but fortunately not that close.

Hi Leslie and Jasper, thanks for your visit. Definitely a ~O) ~O) morning. Thanks on wishing us luck on the dosecrease. I almost hate to increase as Mags is enjoying less pokes, and I am enjoying less worry.

Hi Jane & Karre, thanks for checking on us. I have not yet tried the syringing the Miralax and water and is a neat idea. That way I will know she is getting her dose. When I mix the Miralax in with the food and add water, Mags doesn't always clean the plate.

Good morning Ann. I enjoy the blues for Checks for the same reason, fewer pokes. I noticed his ear in the sun this morning, was bruised inside....and he hasn't even been poked a lot for three days.
I hope Miss Maggie surfs along nicely, in low blues, today. :-D

Hi Barb, you know, it does make it nice for both the kitty and Bean with the blues, less pokes for Checkers and Nags and less worry on us. Maggie has a little bump where I've been poking.

Sounds like Maggie may have had a bit more action going on in the lb than when I left:) Hope the Miralax works well for her again. Good luck on the dosecrease when you choose to do it!

Hi Ella, welcome back. Yes, Mags has had some lb action with a lot of help from Lactulose and now we hope the Miralax will perform its magic. Her number have sure gotten high since the constipation started. I hope nothing else is going on.

Same plan again tonight Mags - you keep her up then wake her up with your chattering a couple of times to get her nice and tired so she doesn't hear you sneak out ;-) see you on the catio - Vyktor xxx
