So Luci is practicing her high jumping skills this morning - I assume from that deep dip into the lagoon yesterday - the rare air of a 66 caused her to absolutely reach for the highest plum on the yellow tree she loves so much! I think she wants to get in on the action like LT does @Suzanne Burton? She doesn't want anyone to think she can't get in on the high-jumping fun.
But this too shall pass...and with her insulin on board she'll said back down that tree...the question is how far will she go today before she runs out of steam?
Mama had the day off yesterday - breakfast with girlfriends - dinner and a movie with my grandson! It was quite fabulous being out of the house during a test/feed/shot time! DH took the duty except for a brief break mid-day between outings (just to bring home the groceries and put them away). We saw Hobbs and Shaw at the Emagine Theater - if you've never been to an Emagine - they have reclining easy chairs for every patron - I was able to relax with my feet up for the entire movie - it's the most comfortable theater I've ever been in - they even deliver the food order to your seats! We held out for dinner and enjoyed a lovely dinner at a nearby sushi place - I had the Bento box and he has Bibimbap - it was delicious! He's grown into a lovely young man and treated me for the entire outing! It's a first!!
Here's a pic of Luci this morning - she could hardly stand to wait for her 'routine' to begin. I'm making coffee and she's watching from her testing towel...that girl is up and ready to go...the minute she heard me stirring about this morning she jumped up on the bed and started purring loudly! Let's go mom!!! Let's go!!!
