Wishing all humans and kitties well.

Alas, blue again. Should I restart the insulin? I will test in three hours from when he's done his final breakfast round.

@tiffmaxee wait a few days or try a drop dose?

@Acadaca are you feeding a snack at +9 in both cycles? yup, that would involve setting an alarm for an ungodly hour of the morning!

The autofeeder is set so that he gets food at roughly +9 (PM cycle), but he doesn't eat all of it and I am not sure which of the two cats are getting at the food. He has food available at +9 in the AM cycle, but I don't entice him to eat if he isn't interested. I can re-arrange the food schedule during the day and just wake up for the +9 at night to make sure he eats something. Hopefully if I make sure he eats at +9 for awhile he gets used to it and eventually I can count on the autofeeder. I will try and be home as often as possible during the AM +9.

The autofeeder is great, but impossible to monitor which how much he is eating vs the civvie. For some reason he didn't eat much this morning so he will be mad at me for withholding until +3, I can take it.

That’s wait a few more days as it’s so close to green. We need some +3-4 tests after eating. They used to say 2 hours but that’s not long enough. Fingers and paws crossed.

Okay, should I be concerned about the fact that he didn't eat much this morning in terms of how it will affect his +3?

Feed him before you test him. So he is compliant for the test. LOL. Don't envy you.

Try waking up and feeding him at PM+9 for a couple of days and see if that helps.

Thank you. I am thinking his name to be changed to Fierce Commander Cohen. At least he is still food motivated.

I will set the alarm tonight.

So the furry guy is back in green with an 85. Keeping me on my toes.

Just so I am clear, snack this evening at +9 then no more til PMBG. If he is blue then take another test at +3. If he is green no test and just get up and give a snack at +9 (which I will do regardless)?

Also, as long as he is green at his BG test he can eat as he would normally? (+1)

Thank you!

Yes. As long as the Amon/pmbg are green feed as you normally would.

You have all my positive thoughts (and prayers) heading your way, Acadaca. I really hope your boy will make it to remission but if not this time then very, very soon. You are trying to do everything right and I know you are a loving Mom. You have a couple of great advisers here helping you.

Thank you kindly. Everyone here is wonderful and I definitely have a couple of very smart ladies on my side. I appreciate your positivity and no matter what happens I think us and our kitties have better lives because of this forum.

We do and don't give up. Lets just see what happens in the next couple of days. A couple of really low blues should not interfere.
