I gave bupe just before shot time, and the little bugger clamped his mouth shut, just as I was about to squirt in cheek pouch.
I don't know if any, , went in his mouth, as I felt it on my hand and saw his fur wet in the corner of his mouth.
What a dilemma, not knowing if he got even one drop.
I was afraid to give another dose, as he's never had more than .1ml at a time, but I couldn't leave him hurting, for hours waiting.
I had a syinge with half dose, so gave that.
I need to call vet Monday and ask what to do in that situation.

Sorry I missed condos today. I was repairing wallpaper in the bird room, along with long overdue scrubbing of everything.
Cassie cockatiel seemed happy to have me in the room with her today. I gave her my little tv to keep her company, too.

Sorry about the bupe issue, I can't even do that alone, I need two of us to get that in Daphne.

Oh, I love cockatiels, and she has her own room too!!

Hope the bupe issue is solved after you talk to the vet.
 
Boo on the bupe:( Probably a good idea to check in with your vet to see what you should do in that situation because it's pretty potent stuff! I hope Checkers gets some relief from the pain tonight.

Aw, I'm sorry about the bupe issue, and I hope Checks got at least some of it in. I don't blame you for not wanting to re-dose...we've learned well about that here on FDMB! Hopefully the vet will give you a good answer about what to do when you're in the situation, and in the meantime, I hope Checks is feeling good.
