Glad to see you here!

Just looking at her labs. She seems dehydrated. And that tT4 sure is stubborn. How is she feeling?
What do you see that indicates dehydration?
And yes the stubborn T4 (mom cries over here) .
What can I do for dehydration (I already add water to her food).
❤️‍🩹

Albumin & BUN being high are telltale signs of dehydration. Do you have or do you think she’d use an auto drinker?
I’ve used one in the past and she never really used it so I put it away.
I add 3 ounces water to her food 2x a day.
Hmmmm. Interesting the vet didn’t say anything about those values.

Mine won’t use them either but my vet told me albumin and BUN being elevated indicates dehydration.

Great. Now what do I do? 😫
Well...I’m not sure since you are already giving her extra water. I wonder if she is drinking more (is she?) because her T4 is still too high so her body thinks she is hyperthyroid? Tobey’s is high because he has CKD so we are giving him daily subq fluids but Ivy is in a different scenario. It’s not like she’s horribly dehydrated. This is the first time her BUN has been high but her albumin has been consistently high for a while.

You could ask Ro if it’s so minor that it’s not an issue; and I didn’t mean to worry you....it was just a general comment that she had some dehydration according to her labs.

No I don’t think she’s really drinking more regularly. Usually only when her BG is high.

I’ll check with either Ro, Holly or maybe my vet. Good idea.
Thanks. 🙏 💕

Hi Staci. I'm happy we are back to our original site. Ivy had some very nice blue and green today. I hope she slides down safely tonight Staci 🤗 🤗 🤗
Just noticed your new avatar of Ivy, is so cute 😊
