Max didn't start the morning meowing for food but that is likely because he got his last teaspoon of lc only four hours ago. He didn't get below 60 last night when he broke his bounce but did dive again so I know what to expect. I just don't know when or how long.

This cycle looks like what happened a few times before, a delayed bounce except he started with a lower number.

Hi Elise, Max had a beautiful cycle last night! I have often seen a similar pattern with Tiger, the low AMPS and it signals a bounce :roll: So much for shooting low to stay low :roll: FD is a frustrating disease, but I came across a post from the Relaxed Lantus forum that made sense to me:

" We call it the Sugar Dance for a reason. Like learning any new dance you're gonna trip, forget steps, do them in the wrong order, fall down, step on your partner's toes etc. But that's what we're here for to teach you the steps, to correct you when you miss steps and offer a hand back up when you fall down.

But unlike most dances only one of you can hear the music your dancing to and it isn't you it's Mister Tibbs. You have to follow his lead, again we can show you how to do that because every cat dances differently...some waltz, some cha-cha, some salsa or tango and some decide they just don't like to dance at all and go off insulin altogether. "

Thanks for sharing, Ruth. One of these days maybe we both will be able to shoot low to stay low. I've been able to shoot low just a couple of time but Max didn't stay low. I saw that Tiger had a good green cycle as well. Have a great night!
