Trix may have had herself a big ole kibble raid last night, but I don't know for sure (these days I can't predict it by AMBG/PMBG since she likes to keep me guessing). Both her beans crashed hard on the couches after dinner, forgetting there was a bowl on the floor. At that point, Trix was snoozing in another room. When I woke up (but DH was still out like a light), she was on the arm of the loveseat. I got her a Fancy Feast snack and went about my business, still not realizing there was a bowl on the floor. When DH woke up a little later and I was upstairs washing my face...he noticed the bowl, and Trix had again moved to another room. The bowl wasn't cleaned out, and we really don't know if she had any or not...but if she did, more power to her, catching her beans slacking off like that. I didn't bother testing her to see if she had a kibble-spike....that info wouldn't have told me anything relevant. And I really don't if today's AMBG is kibble-induced, or if it's a poop day, or of it's just Trix being Trix.

We still have no word on my Dad's port installation, although I actually didn't talk to my folks yesterday...figured I'd give them a breather from me  ! This week coming up will also be extra-extra busy, what with whatever comes down the pike with my Dad along with having to vend at our biggest bead show of the year. No rest for the weary...next week I finally might get a day or two off....I hope.

Sending prayers out to my entire LL family.....once this extra-extra crazy week is over, I hope I can spend much more time visiting......

I know I should not say this or agree with it, but you are right, more power to her if she caught the beans during a snooze fest lolol

If she did get in the kibble, I am sure she thought she was getting one over on everyone and that made her happy, so :)

Glad her numbers came back down to green at her +3....I just wish I understood why she feels the need to get those extra pokeys in when if she would just test lower at the AMPS she could forgo the +3 pokey.....perhaps she misses that "quality time" you had when you did all that test ;-)

Sending lots of energy vines your way as it looks like you will need them for the next week or so!

Trixie is definitely going to keep you on your toes!! Mr P is in the building with the +3 and all is right in Trixieland.

Extra hugs, prayers, and vines for your dad, mom, you , and your family that the port goes in and treatment begins soon. I know how stressful it is to work and have a sick relative. I was never so tired in my life as I was when my dad was in the hospital the two months before he passed. Then again my Tiffany had a crisis each time my mom had one and Max seems to do the same with my mom. Catch those naps when you can.

Nice recovery, Trix, but stay out of the kibble! I'm too German to condone any reckless behavior like that.   Many vines for your dad and the whole family, especially for you this week, Amy. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Trixie, you little scamp! I bet you gave a sly wink to your bean when she found you on the arm of the couch.

Sending vines for the port placement. I was knocked out for mine 'cuz my surgeon did the procedure although many are implanted with a local. Pretty simple outpatient either way. Chemo for me started the next morning. Since I was 100 miles from home, the nearest major hospital and cancer center, I spent the night at a hotel so I had the afternoon after the port to play. Drove 40 miles to Mesquite and gambled! Felt good to do something hedonistic just before the "real" treatment started. Maybe an omen; I came back with more money than I took!

Am so sending all my good Karma to your dad.

Liz, I love it! All four of my grandparents came over from Germany during the first decade of last century. My parents carried lots of their upbringing to me. I really get it.

She could have been munching quietly and when she could tell you were about to wake up, jumped up on the arm of the chair and acted innocent :)

Continued vines to your Dad. I hope he gets his treatment soon and all goes really well.

Kibble raid or not, Mr. P is in the house, and he is still in charge. LOVE IT!!! You go, Trixie! I hope you never lose your sneaky, kibble-raiding streak. It keeps life interesting for you and your beans. ;-)

Sending more healing vines for your DF. I hope the port installation gets scheduled ASAP and treatment gets underway. The sooner it starts, the sooner it's over.

More hugs. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
