He's a motorboat today with his purring. He spent all night on the bed with me and my boy civvies. He's learned to spread out - didn't leave me a whole lot of room. I am going to have to start sleeping horizontally across the pillows again :lol:

Since it is a new pen, I am going to get some mid-cycle tests in today - between running errands.

New pen or not, I'd watch him around nadir, starting about +4, so you know where he's headed. Glad he had that amps on a weekend, that's great data for him. It would be a little iffy on a workday, might consider giving a little less, were you not going to be home. Plus, you'd much rather he have a low bg in the morning, those allnighters suck, been there, done that, more than 3 times. :lol:

Nice to hear he's become part of the 'crew'. So uh, how long before you quit calling him a foster? :lol: Seems like he's purred his way right into the family. dancing_cat

Nice and easy Snoball, no giving mommabean grey hairs! ;-)

I think he will be a Christmas present to me - a White Christmas would be nice.

This morning I actually saw him skittering - you know where they get hunched up and hop sideways across the floor. It was fun to watch. He is not much of a player so these moments are priceless.

Are you sure he's as old as you think?

None of mine did that after about 5 yrs old. Patches will be 7 next month and she rarely plays anymore without the help of kitty nip. :lol: The other 2 never play, even with nip.

I want to get that new cat toy advertised on TV, Cat's Meow I think it is. Maybe they'd play with that.

I love to watch cats play, that's why kittens are such a hoot! :-D

The fact that he's playing the way he is, shows he's feeling tons better. :thumbup

Snuck up on him while he was sleeping on the chair for his +4 (tee hee) - Looks like we are staying in the 80s today.

The shelter estimated him to be between 9 and 10 and the vet last month confirmed it closer to 10 years. When Sno is alone upstairs he does this running skittering thing. It delights me so to hear him do this from downstairs. I got a remote control mouse for my civvies - it lasted about 30 minutes before the wheels got corrupted by fur and dirt and gave out.

He certainly must be feeling better to be so playful.

Don't get discouraged if he goes a little higher this evening, he may bounce a bit from those nice greens today. It'll come back down and they will get fewer and farther between as time goes on.

How long has he been on his current dose?

I loved reading this Robin! Sounds just like my sleeping arrangements. Sometimes, that queen sized bed doesn't seem big enough. :o :shock: :o This morning, I had to get up on the opposite side of the bed, because all 3 of my kitties were holding down the fort on the side I usually get out of and they would not budge.
 
:lol: I hear ya, I got 3 also and a full size bed! :o I have to change sides at least once a night cause when I get up, Lucian gets in my spot, so I have to get back in on the other side and move my pillows and give him his, etc. I've even had to climb over the footboard cause they had both sides locked up.

Of course, if I didn't spoiled them rotten, I wouldn't have this problem. ohmygod_smile :lol:
