Thinking of Jan on the loss of her sweet Sara. And continued prayers for Claudia and Rocket.

3rd day of food experiment. Only feeding Simon Friskies Turkey. Not sure yet if it is just a coincidence, but Simon is showing many more green numbers than when he is eating FF. Yesterday, he was green at all tests except one nice blue one and he is starting the day off in the green again! I hope he doesn't get too sick of the same kind of food, but I want to try it for at least 6 days. I'm also going to go buy some different types of food and do the same thing over the next week. Maybe the Merricks and Special Kitty. Definitely not Wellness since he won't eat it. Simon is acting very playful this morning, jumping against the walls and then racing down the stairs and running around. I guess he is definitely liking the green start to his day!

what lovely numbers Simon! My vet claims cats don't get bored and you can feed the same thing everyday but I have my doubts. But maybe he's right and you can stick to Friskies Turkey. Simon sure seems to be doing well on it.

Georgia, good luck with your food experiment. The Friskies Turkey seems to be agreeing with him. I am going to try FF Chicken Feast again and see if it causes a spike in Mags. She's been too long on Seafood Feast. You're right in FF causing a spike in some of the kitties. Have a nice day.

Simon sure does seem to like his new fuds! Sounds like the green numbers are giving him an energy boost as well.

Very nice AMPS this morning! You can always try any of the Evo 95% flavors, too. They're mostly protein, and there's one with no carbs at all (Chicken & Turkey), if you're concerned with carbs. The only thing to be concerned about is feeding too much fish flavors as the fish has mercury in it. I think a lot of the folks on the board feed mainly poultry flavored food. Good luck with it! He's doing great!
