Good Friday morning all!

Very excited that Shasta let me get to bed a little earlier last night. An extra 15 minutes is always welcomed! Her appy seems good this morning, but her mood is a bit somber. :-| I know that I only gave her .75u this morning, but I when I was actually injecting it, I swear that plunger just kept going and going and going. So in my mind, I have overdosed her and now I'm a bit worried! grr_red

I reprogrammed her autofeeder to add some more cycles. This may be overkill, but maybe it'll ease my mind a little. We'll see how much she eats!

A nice sunny yellow start for Shasta today. :-D :-D :cool: I know the feeling - have been through that scenario many times - the plunger just seems to go so much farther than normal. All of mine have been OK, just me worrying. Extra food won't hurt, will give you peace of mind.

:smile: I remember that uneasy feeling, Deborah! Maybe treat yourself to something nice and relaxing? Shasta's looking pretty good - hoping for more and more progress!

It is easy to second guess ourselves sometimes. Looks like Shasta is taking a nice slow slide down though so no worries. Have a great day!!

You ladies are always so sweet, supportive, and reassuring! Thank you! I think because her mood/personality was off last night, that makes me that much more paranoid. :oops:

Two classes down, three more to go and a chiropractor appointment! Then it's time to love and poke my cat! :-D

Well, adding more cycles to Shasta's autofeeder helped, I think. There was still some food left (particularly in the first open container because she still had her breakfast food), but she nibbled & grazed her way through the day. :razz:

When I got home, she seemed to be feeling better and in a much better state of mind! :YMSIGH: <sigh of relief>

I may have a question in a minute...want to see if I can research it first. Be back soon. Hope everyone is having a good Friday!

My second guesses are always did I have the right amount? And when I push the plunger, was there amything in there?

Maybe you were imagining it in s-l-o-w m-o-t-i-o-n.....

That's a big drop by +2. This could be a busy cycle! Sometimes, those flat yellow cycles are a signal that action is coming.

:lol: Every cycles seems to be a busy cycle! Makes me think that 5% and lower isn't cuttin' it for her, but I don't want to always give her 6% and higher. hmmmm?!

Just fed her some 6% wellness at +3. I'll retest at +3.5 and see if I can't get her to go surfin' U.S.A. :mrgreen:

put down a bit more 6%, but she's not interested right now. More interested in napping. Will test again at +4.

Her neice (my sister's cat) is a calico and if I thought Shasta was sassy and evil...Pixie reminds me that there's another level to sassy and evil!!!
