Morning LL,

WCR Sara is doing great. She has only peed once on the towel since sat. I am elated about this. flip_cat The pills are working! I just know it. But I will be bringing her in to have her urine checked in a week or so. On the other hand pilling her is a HUGE chore. Making sure she has eaten, and at the same time not letting her go behind the hutch. Than there is the actual pilling. Which she fights tooth and nail. I may start chopping it up to smaller bits and feed her lots of treats till the pill is gone. We will see if that even works, as she must smell it and had stopped eating it in a treat.

I'm off to tbp.

Have a nice day.

Well, I'm glad of the happy news about the dry towel. YAY!
Good luck with the continued pilling.

Maybe wash you hands well after handling the pill and then try to gingerly put it in some cheese of something....
Oh, who am I kidding? Sigh. they KNOW you are trying to pill them and they are on high alert all the time!
They are just TOO smart of their own good, right?
Glad there is improvement with the towel...yay!

Pat, Your right I don't think washing my hands would make a bit o difference. They are toooooo smart!

Lisa and Dyana, thanks for the well wishes on the pilling and the DRY towel. She has only used it once since saturday. That makes all the stress over the pilling worth it.

Janice, When she started this med I used to put it in a soft treat and she would eat it no problem. But I guess she got a taste of it one time and she won't eat it in anything anymore. I even broke it up in tiny bits and no go. So its back to the pilling. I have a couple more weeks left of this. :?
