Good Morning, Everyone,

Keeping Bern in our thoughts today and hoping that she and Tashi's brother Boris will find comfort as they remember Tashi.

Rusty has a little bounce this morning: all those greens of the past 4 days catching up with him! It's another beautiful day outside and he will enjoy outdoor time. He had a good night and ate all his nighttime food. His breathing didn't sound great when we went to bed, but he's fine this morning. We had a good test, shot, first sitting of breakfast, lung treat, schmooze (I fell asleep and so did Rusty), and now we are ready for the day.

We are off to the farmers' market. Later to the landfill. The painting of the new siding boards will be finished this afternoon. Then all will be done on this major project with the exception of the little greenhouse (the carpenters must wait for the glass panels to be made). The front door looks terrific (it is dark green; the house is dark red). I'll post a pic later.

Morning Ella

A nice mid level blue for Rusty - his version of a resting day. He's looking really good. I love it when a bean can call a blue a bounce. You've done well today Rusty, and back to the lagoon for you.

Ella, i LOVE your new front door! That is just beautiful. I also really like the color contrast -very very nice! Good luck too with the rest of your projects. Hope they come out as well. I bet they do. it seems like you have a very good carpenter!

Enjoy your day today. I will hope you find good things are the farmer's market. Try not too have too much fun at the landfill. ;-)

Hi Ella. Rusty is looking good this morning. Bet he's happy to get some outdoor time. He looks so much a part of the stoop in the picture. Your new door looks really good as does the entire home. I bet he spends a lot of time at that beautiful front window.

Hi Ella.....your home looks beautiful. I too, love the colors.
Speaking of colors, Rusty is very different than I thought. I did not know he is tri-colored. I thought he is mostly orange/rust
and white.

Sooooooo I went to his profile, looking for more photos, and can't get into it.

It's a gorgeous day here. I was going to head off to Farmer's Market, which is run by local Amish, this year. They sell homemade baked items also. Yum...but ended up staying home to mow, get lawn chairs back up onto the porch that was painted couple weeks ago. Oh well. It was too nice a day, to spend it driving.

Oops, this isn't my condo, is it? :lol:

What a pretty green door! I knew it, that's why Rusty is so green all the time. I've been painting blue - wrong colour choice. :lol: :lol: Seriously though, it's a great looking door and Rusty looks so proud of it.

As for Rusty in blue bounce mode, I'll trade you any day. :roll:

Rusty really is a beauty, so cute. Must have been hard to pick just the right green, but you nailed it. Love it! The color combination looks great. I love how you East coasters call it a stoop.LOL. I hope you will share the pictures of the new green house too.

Hi Ella, what a beautiful door, and I love the colors. They did a beautiful piece of work on the door. So glad Rusty's breathing is better. He's keeping a nice cycle today so you and Edward can get everything done. Enjoy shopping at the Farmer's Market.

Hi again,
I had thought that Rusty would have headed back down at PMPS because his day was so flat blue, but he decided otherwise.

The last of the painting (lower siding boards on the south side of the house) was done today and carpenter #2 is finished, unless #1 needs him to help with the greenhouse. But it may be a few weeks, since they have other work and nothing more can be done here until the glass arrives.

Thank you all for visiting us today. We are so happy to be able to sit on our front porch again and have a beer before dinner. Rusty sat with us in 'his" chair. We have an exciting night in store: we just got the pilot and first few episodes of "Person of Interest" on Netflix. We'll finally be able to see how our favorite TV series began!! (we got hooked about half way through the first season).

Rusty looks so very handsome in front of his new green door! I bet he is relieved those noisy people are done. Maybe he needed a day off from being lagoon meister. ;-)

The rain has put a damper on the woodpile watch, but Tillie is braving the elements to wait for Rusty.
