Dammit all. I thought he was clearing the bounce last night.. maybe he did, maybe he dipped even lower... but a BLACK this morning is just too depressing for words. Sigh. Maybe his body is working better than I think? maybe the shaved 2.0 is too high as well? maybe I should drop it back down to 1.5 and work up from there? I don't know. so frustrating.

Rupert of course is completely unphased and quite smug this morning. BEBT, hungry of course, vocal, active sleek and shiny. However, if he stays in these high numbers I know that will change. I'm hoping for a SLOW drop today. less drama, more consistency, less frustration. Of course, it's Friday and he always tends to do exciting things on Friday. Frankly I could do without the excitement. a nice flat yellow or high blue day would actually make me happy.

hope everyone else is doing well this Friday. I'm off to go work Harvey before it gets too hot and before have to head to work.

I know you are a black/white cat, but black on black is not very festive or colorful. Please come down and try on some nice blues or high greens (heck, even yellow would be a pretty color on you right now!) :-D Behave today, silly kitty!

It could be a bounce from the shaved dose, or it could be a bounce from the combination of the Friskies that you feed at test times, and the shaved dose. I'm not sure what the carb content is in the Friskies, however that may be something to think about. Could also be that he found some contraband that he's not supposed to have...? Hoping that he shows you some better #s for you both very soon. Got that, Rupert? No more high #s for you, lil' man!

Rupert, black and white kitties are supposed to be black on the OUTSIDE! Nice to see that he is SLOWLY coming down into more reasonable numbers. Have a great Friday Pip, enjoy the weather!
 
nice to see Rupert heading into the blues in a *slightly* slower fashion, hopefully he'll surf blues tonight and not over react!
