Yesterday http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=77243 was a blue start and then flat pink day, followed by slowly dropping pink night to blue this morning.

8/16 Recap:
AMPS 148 +3 304 +5 310 +9 359
PMPS 392 +3 334

Today we've got a nice little blue surf going on. All 5 P's are present this morning and Neko has had some time outside lying on the cool grass in the shade. The nanners have had a bit of a workout but now she is trying to figure out where to sleep next. In this weather the solarium is a bit too hot, so she has just settled in for a nap on top of my blue computer bag.

Last night I was staring at the spreadsheet hoping I could just go to sleep after +3 and trying to guess what she'd do overnight. I actually guessed a blue morning and I was right! I won't tell Neko she was predictable, next time she won't be.

DH and I went rowing this morning. We were the only ones who showed up so were in singles. I was so surprised no one else was there. It was a glorious day for a row, but I must admit I half wanted to tip the boat and dive into the water. It was starting to warm up at the end and the ocean was looking so inviting.

Fabulous blue surf. Woohoo!!! What a great row this morning. You should have tipped the boat.

+6.5 151 +9 177
And still BLUE!!! Go Neko!

@Pip - I think Neko is celebrating this nice long stretch of blue skies and warm weather we have been getting. It's about 5C cooler than Fort Collins was, so quite enjoyable.

@Liz - I agree - a fabulous blue surf. I would have tipped the boat but the reason I was in that particular one instead of my favorite was that the other boat had recently been tipped and was drying out. Sometimes one has to act responsibly in front of the junior rowers.

@Julie - definitely a bluetastic day today! A second reason for not tipping is the coliform count in the cove in late summer can be questionable. And I didn't want to tip way out from the boathouse. But I still want to go swimming!

@Sienne - as requested, still surfing along on the blues!

almost forgot - i did see your comment about Dr. Timian and the use of R - very interesting! neko does seem like she's clearing bounces very quickly and if she responds rapidly to the SRT you may never need it.

Oh, it's bad form to tip the boat? Oh well. Plus the coliform? I don't know what that is but I've had enough gut issues this summer to know I don't want it.   Go Neko!

:-D :-D :-D on today! WOW, and an impressive blue cycle, Way to go Neko! I love days like that - these blues are great - nice and steady.

and a definite no on telling Neko you guessed right on where she'd be. she'll never do ti again... that move is so so Mannie. Never a dull moment with him. It is nice though that you can see trends and pattens on their SS. Such a valuable tool that data is.

Nice on your row this morning! It actually sounds kinda nice with no one else being there. I hike solo, and kind of prefer it that way. I had to laugh over the tip the boat or not... and on the being responsible.  guess somebody has to be huh.

and Neko - good nap choices. Mannie was especially proud of your vigorous nanner play.

enjoy your evening!!

@Julie - paws crossed on the not needing R. It would be one more thing to learn. Time will tell.

@Liz - coliform is what happens when the boats dump their effluent in the water. Canada doesn't have regulations about holding tanks   It can also be caused by animals but I think the human animal is the worst culprit. There are showers at the boathouse, but still....

@Michelle - guessing this morning BG colour was a first time seeing a predictable slide. This morning's row was just DH, myself, and the coach in the coach boat. We don't wear life jackets, so we have to have the coach boat come with us with them. Much better than Wednesday night's zoo where there were 16 people and 7 rowing shells! And for some reason, a lot less power boat traffic today.
