Yesterday was.... I dunno! It was an odd day. We had great PS numbers, only have Mannie shoot up to the stratosphere in the morning, not too bad for the PM cycle, we even made green! What a day, he was just all over the place. Perhaps it was the heat - we are warm, for us (!), at 90. Maybe it was just Mannie being Mannie, in which case no one knows what is what except for him, and he never is talking. I hope for a good day today - paws crossed. Lubs ya big guy!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D HOT rules the roost here... and the kitties are melting.... or so Mannie has told me. He has spent most of his time on the tiled floor, shaved belly flat against the tiles. It;'s kinda cute - eventually his body heat heats the tiles and he moves over a coupe of feet to the next cool on.  No dummy there! He did spend alot of time outside today too - have yet to find his new spot. It's a good one, shielded from my searching eyes. Mannie and Nicholas shared their greeting yesterday morning, the usual hugs. Mannie had gone out for a few before Nicholas and I headed on out yesterday. It was so funny to watch DGS run from room to room looking for him. After about 10 minutes Mannie comes in from the deck area, and THE VOICE decided to greet him, for about 5 seconds. Then it was the mad dash to give out the hug. I swear Mannie was rolling his eyes....   This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was IGNORED by Mannie (sigh....), AND Elsa Ignored it too! .... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am on DGS duty today . It will be a swim morning, and then wherever the sunny skies lead us - more than likely a river... I will try to get to condos in the evening, it's just to difficult when Nicholas is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your fur kids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! I'm melting, I'm melting!!! It's way too hot here. I dunno... but I think we need a cool spot, or maybe just the beach today. HEY! Zip lining would keep us cool! What'd'ya guys think? Maybe a river picnic after that. The tiny human did that with the bean yesterday and they said it wasn't hot there and it was really cool and stuff. So.....that be good? Let me know. I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

Completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS and my adventures yesterday: Skykomish River. Weather was wonderful: sunny, blue skies, slight breeze and 80/85. A perfetct day to be out near the water. I've also included the FaceBook link for anyone that wants to see all the photos and the videos: North Fork, Skykomish River

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155

Love the pics!! Sorry about the heat. I hope it breaks soon for you. Way to go on your new napping spot Mannie! Keep your bean searching for you. I bet he blends in with the foliage quite nicely. And how sweet on Nicholas! I bet he was searching everywhere. I can see Mannie just walking in like "what's the big deal? I'm right here." Even with the eye roll, you know he is every bit as happy to see DGS.

Have a great day Michelle!!

Hey Mannie! I am with you on finding someplace cool. I think we need to go to the mountains or maybe Canada. I dunno but zip lining and a river picnic sounds awesome. Picks me up, k? - Tarragon

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +1 135

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

Thanks on the pics - isn't that a great spot? one of my favs!! Me too on the heat - these temps are unusual for us - ugh! and yes on Mannie's new spot - wherever it is I can't find him, it is as you say - he blends in so well! Searched for 40 minutes yesterday, trying to get a +11. oh sure..... and yes on DGS - he look on his face was so funny, a perplexing where IS he look.  and yes, it is true: Mannie was happy to see him, accepted the hug, and purred. Too cute!

Mr T! Me TOO!! We will find a good one. I will think real hard - there has to be ziplines someplace cool - we shall prevail! Let's do it! picks you up, for sure!! ~~ Mannie

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +1 135

Hi Michelle, thanks on the ~O) ~O) yesterday, I switched to iced coffee, and it was so good. Nice blues this morning for Mannie! I really like his +1! I think he means business! So cute with DGS and Mannie and the hugs. I has been hot here, too, more with the high humidity than anything lately! It's been too muggy to take a walk lately! Maggie has found a spot under the recliner footstool where she lays comatose! :-D Cute pics of DGS and definitely in his element. Have a great adventure today and hope Mannie fives a permit for the afternoon.

Mannie, zip liners sound great. We haven't done it in a while. It should be cooler at the beach, too. See ya at the curb, Mags

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +1 135

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) - way cool on the iced coffee! :-D :-D

Yupp - I too think he means business this morning. I politely asked him to level it out, DGS and I have things to do. We may have to wait on those! ;-) and I hear you on comatose kitties - Mannie has his moments - like last night: comatose on those tiles. can't say that I blame him. ;-) Thanks on the pic - it rally is such a beautiful area, DGS likes it alot too. I hope we get tout today - it will be a hot one, so hopefully we can find an outdoor place that is cool. paws crossed!

Maggie! Cool then - let's do it! I lubs it - we go so fast, and I know we will stay cool. Right? uhhhhh.... the logic is there.... right? I think so too to he beach. We will find a god one. :-D Picks you up at the curb! ~~ Mannie

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +1 135, +2 94

94 @ +2.  wow, and Go Mannie, I think.   Looks like DGS and I will have to rethink this morning...

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +1 135, +2 94

Morning you two! LOL...looks as if there will be work to do together this morning, eh? Wow! that's a nice green +2..... Oh Mannie....you are too much!
I noticed that during the New Moon's influence, Shadow can get highs and sudden lows....all extremes just as with the Full Moon.....right now, any green at all is sending Shadow's Mr. Liver into a state of panic and retaliation!
Hope you guys have a great Friday~looks like there will be lotsa food and testing going on!...Hugs!

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +2 94, +3.7 90, +4.2 111, +6.5 176

176 @ 6.5 WOO HOO!!!! The boy did good today! I just hope I didn't over carb him, but Nicholas and I are grateful for the permission slip. :-D

Hi Ann -   indeed! We did get the permit, with a little extra fuds to help. :-D

Hi Pat - oh yes on the work together... :-D :-D I can't agree more on the new moon influence. It never occurred to me yesterday that that could be why Mannie's stuff is so erratic - wouldn't be the first time that we have had that new moon affect his numbers. TRUE!! We getrt eh same thinf with the greens - righ up to stinkus pinkus. shesshhhhh! and THX - testing yupp, food yupp, and a great Friday too!

Beautiful numbers today Mr Mannie :-D :-D :-D Despite the heat, you are doing great today!
That lil critter with the voice is coming for you--Ohh you know your buddy Nicholas..
Now Have a good time, and stay low!!
Moonie is comatose in her hidey hole in the bedroom
Did I tell you she loves to get rides on the bedspread when we make the bed??
One of her Fav activities!! have a good night! Hugs & love from us!

Re: 8/17 Mannie AMPS 155, +3.7 90, +4.2 111, +6.5 176, +7 18

Both beautiful photos and beautiful Mannie numbers today. I'm glad he gave you a chance to get out this afternoon. Those river shots look so inviting. Did you go in too Michelle? I would have been tempted. Too funny on Mannie's hidely hole in the yard. Neko has a few favorite bushes she hides under, but every once in a while she disappears under something new. Even though it's cooler in the house, they seem to want to hang outside.

This heat has me thinking of ice cream, especially mint chocolate chip! Enjoy the day.

There are zip lines in Whistler, but it's even hotter there. How about we just hang out at the grotto for a while? ~Neko

Re: 8/17 Mannie PMPS 208

208 @ PMPS. WOW, and WHAT A RIDE today! :-D :-D :-D Well done Mannie - your bean is very proud of you. Green, dude, GREEN!

What a busy crazy and insane day with Nicholas. It's HOT here - well 88/90. 70/75is normal on a god day - so.... Nicholas and I went swimming in the morning. He had a great time - lots of "swimming" today - lots of jumps ins, just an all around good time. We went to Coal Creek after that, as it was the closest one I know of that had shade and water. Alot of the others we do are all open, and well, just too warm for a little guy and his grammie to be out on hot pavement, even if it is by a river. Coal Creek was great. Lots of rock throwing, and he even got to wade for a few seconds with some very small rainbow trouts. That was cool! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Lesley - thanks for the visit! Thanks so much on the pics - his numbers do match - kinda cool! Many thank too - it is such a nice area there.

Hi Roni - THX _ it's been a god day for Mannie - awesome Numbers!! yeah on the VOICE - haven't heard it for a while, but it was back today, even if just for that one holler.  TOO FUNNY on the bed spread rides for Moonie - Elsa will do that, but I'm not convinced she thinks it's really fun, even though she never jumps off.

Hi Wendy - Thanks on the pics! Mannie says thx on the numbers - he's kept me hoppin' today that's for sure. Me too on the getting out, more than grateful for that. The rivers are beautiful - this is in the Skykomish area off of HWY 2: Wild Sky Wilderness it's called. very very pretty! sometimes i will wade in with Nicholas - just to make sure he stays where he's supposed too.  I could spend the entire day there - so so nice!!! I know on the kitties - that is Elsa - she loves the outdoor - more then Mannie. I love their hidey holes - makes life interesting, especially when you can't find them. ;-) ;-) and the ice cream flavor of the day: per Nicholas: cookies and cream. yum!

Neko - it's hotter in whistler????? SERIOUSLY???? Well we better not go there! I like the grotto idea - WOO HOO! Let's do it! See you there . ~~ Mannie

Z!!!! I LUBS THE GROTTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be back tonight dude. uhhhhh... you still there? ~~ M

Re: 8/17 Mannie PMPS 208

Nice surf for Mannie today. Hopefully he was able to stay cool on the tile floor. Hope you and DGS got to do something fun.

Ha Ha. I posted before I hit refresh to look for updates. I'm glad you and DGS got to go swimming.

Re: 8/17 Mannie PMPS 208

Hi Carla - That he did, and still is. It is amazing how cool they stay. I do that all the time on the update thing... always forgetting! And yes, we managed to squeeze most of the normal things we do on a Friday- been a great day, even with Mannie giving us a run for the money.

Z- I'm working on it! Here I come!! I hope.... ~ M
