Yesterday was.... I dunno! It was an odd day. We had great PS numbers, only have Mannie shoot up to the stratosphere in the morning, not too bad for the PM cycle, we even made green! What a day, he was just all over the place. Perhaps it was the heat - we are warm, for us (!), at 90. Maybe it was just Mannie being Mannie, in which case no one knows what is what except for him, and he never is talking. I hope for a good day today - paws crossed. Lubs ya big guy!
All is well in MannieLand.
HOT rules the roost here... and the kitties are melting.... or so Mannie has told me. He has spent most of his time on the tiled floor, shaved belly flat against the tiles. It;'s kinda cute - eventually his body heat heats the tiles and he moves over a coupe of feet to the next cool on.  No dummy there! He did spend alot of time outside today too - have yet to find his new spot. It's a good one, shielded from my searching eyes. Mannie and Nicholas shared their greeting yesterday morning, the usual hugs. Mannie had gone out for a few before Nicholas and I headed on out yesterday. It was so funny to watch DGS run from room to room looking for him. After about 10 minutes Mannie comes in from the deck area, and THE VOICE decided to greet him, for about 5 seconds. Then it was the mad dash to give out the hug. I swear Mannie was rolling his eyes....   This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was IGNORED by Mannie (sigh....), AND Elsa Ignored it too! .... Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone! I am on DGS duty today . It will be a swim morning, and then wherever the sunny skies lead us - more than likely a river... I will try to get to condos in the evening, it's just to difficult when Nicholas is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your fur kids. Think blue, think green kitties!
Hey everybody! I'm melting, I'm melting!!! It's way too hot here. I dunno... but I think we need a cool spot, or maybe just the beach today. HEY! Zip lining would keep us cool! What'd'ya guys think? Maybe a river picnic after that. The tiny human did that with the bean yesterday and they said it wasn't hot there and it was really cool and stuff. So.....that be good? Let me know. I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie
Completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS and my adventures yesterday: Skykomish River. Weather was wonderful: sunny, blue skies, slight breeze and 80/85. A perfetct day to be out near the water. I've also included the FaceBook link for anyone that wants to see all the photos and the videos: North Fork, Skykomish River
