Happy Caturday although our hearts are still filled with grief over Tashie's crossing and our prayers are ever with Bern and Jim. Sending out many healing vines for all who need them.
Missy G is having a lovely Caturday although we did not do catnip today. Maybe later but she and Tobey have been enjoying the morning on the catio and Gussie has been napping. For some reason, she just decided this morning that the catio nanner needed some extra punishment and she must have bunny kicked that thing for 15 minutes. She'd kick it, look at me, kick it, look at me :lol: :lol: Finally when she felt it had been kicked enough, she grabbed it in her front paws, rolled on her back and then just rolled back and forth with it clutched between her front paws.
I'm not sure why she is not getting with the magic on this dose but we don't really have anywhere to go with it right now. We took her up .05u ....a tiny amount, and she immediately rode the low numbers. We are going to change her pen tonight because it's been 47 days and there isn't much left in it anyway. It's the only thing we can think of for why her numbers look a little bizarre. Yesterday seemed like a bounce but the weird drop last night and the popping back up this morning just makes me wonder if the insulin is just starting to get a bit toasty.
The boys are doing well. After Gus's ick day the other day of vomit and liquipoo, he seems to be back to normal.
Sorry I haven't been around much.....we've had lots going on but mostly getting ready for Jason who arrives shortly. I don't know how much I'll be on in the next few days but hopefully will get a chance to pop in. It's been since last fall that we saw him so I'd really like to have time to spend with him. He's the best stepson a mildly wicked stepmother could have and he and Mike are very close.
