Good morning everyone,

there is a happy ending to the yesterday's story about Chunky Monky, a Michigan cat who was abandoned by his owner due to long term overseas trip. A local home was found for him and fingers crossed he is safe and will live long and happy years with his new family!

I want to let the whole world to know that someone we meet here on the LL Forum everyday is a true Hero of mine - @Carol in Chicago not only volunteered to drive to another state to transport Chunky to his new home but when things became unclear as to his adaption she offered to give him home!!! Good bless you Carol, and Rose!

Ducia told me last night that she wishes to stay on the reduced dose for a little longer. And she showed me something new - a bounce that began at onset at PMPS +2.5 o_O:confused:. Whatever :cat::cool:... fine with me.

Thanks for these kind words, but I should clarify that the real heroes are those who work in rescue every day. They work with insufficient resources, difficult situations and I'm sure have to deal with more unhappy outcomes than we know. I didn't know there were so many diabetic cats that need help. @Chris & China shared this map of diabetic cats up for adoption. Some are urgent because a date been set to "PTS". I didn't know the meaning of "PTS" until yesterday. I didn't know that an otherwise healthy cat would be PTS just because it was diabetic. :(
