So China...What's up for today? You really are trying your mama's patience!

I've loaned out all my patients pants so am out of luck there too!

If China doesn't kill me off, I think DM is going to! I'm really happy that she wants to get out of her apartment and join a church, but so far, we're on church #4 and she's not found one she feels comfortable in yet....Only about 496 to go in this 1200 person town.....LOL

The other churches were willing to come pick her up and make sure she got back home, but today's candidate was all on me to get her there and go pick her up soon. Hopefully she likes this one and then we can find someone nearby who's willing to pick her up each week and take her.

Hope you're all having a nice Sunday and your kitties aren't driving you as crazy as China's driving me!

I hope China flattens out for you soon. Hopefully your DM will find a church she likes where they can take her to and from church.

What do you call that? A dip and run? Very interesting cycle for sure, China. Wait, I know! You dashed into the lagoon and hauled Cinco back to shore, didn't you? The timing works about right. Nice of you, but you could have stayed with him instead of going so far inland.

Well, it's good your DM is taking an interest in getting involved in outside things like a church, but too bad she can't find one she likes. I hope she finds the right one soon and that someone can handle the transport for her. After my dad had to stop driving, my mom couldn't get to church on Sundays, as she never learned how to drive. On one of my visits home, I went to the church office and asked if there was anyone who might pick her up - we only lived 1/2 mile from the church, but she couldn't walk it anymore due to arthritis. About 50% of the congregation had to drive by our home to get there. I was lucky and there was a lady in the office that day that knew my mom from a charity group they had both been in for years. She immediately offered to be the chauffeur, and she took my mom back and forth to church almost every Sunday for the last six or seven years of her life. It made my mom very happy and was a huge relief to my sister, who lived on the other side of town and just couldn't do it every week. It made a big difference after my dad passed, too, because it got her out of the house and seeing people regularly.
