Jazzy's AMPS 112. After breakfast, the little bugger got into a box of donuts my husband brought home as a treat. I forgot to put it in the microwave where it couldn't be accessed by Jazzy (who can jump onto the counter again). He was caught Red handed eating the coconut off of MY donut . He's got some nerve!!! Lol. I looked up whether it was safe for him or not. Luckily it's not toxic, although he may experience some tummy discomfort. So I'm expecting his numbers will be higher than they would've been if he wasn't a little thief. I have 6 cats and I have to have eyes everywhere to keep track of all their shinanagins. They keep me busy
 
Lol. You got to love these guys. At least it was just a donut. I have one that eats my clothes and towels if I don’t keep everything put away. My hand towels are in the shower. My other one can open doors.
I hope the sugar doesn’t cause too much of a spike. And they often say cats don’t like sweets. ;)
 
Coconut donut hmmmm. Not my favorite. Now chocolate he would be in trouble as no one touches my chocolate donuts.I

Coconut should be ok as a few people give coconut oil to cats.

Definately would be in trouble if he got to the actual donut which was chocolate. So dangerous for them. Also because it was MY chocolate toasted coconut donut. Lol.

Jazzy likes whatever he can get ahold of. Sadly up until a couple of years ago when he got sick, he had zero interest in any kind of human food. Now he'll inhale whatever he possibly can. Always watching him.
 
Luci is bad about that too! She loves pastries!! And butter...If I'm baking she'll get up on the counter the minute my back is turned and will try to lick up the crumbs (typically when I'm making pie crust)...I have to plan accordingly never to leave the kitchen when I'm making pie crusts. Once I caught her licking the crumbs from the remainder of a pizza...only the crumbly crusty parts...bread, rolls, cookies, candy, ice cream...that girl is BAD...we've learned (mostly) over time not to leave anything out on the counter - otherwise it's fair game - even though she's forbidden to be on the counters..she's sneaky. :rolleyes::facepalm::p
