And off to a good start this morning. This marks his first full day in the green! A great milestone. We couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you so much.

Barely into the blue on the PMPS! (I was tempted to fudge the data and make that a 99 just to stay in the green. LOL)

Woo Hoo!! Isn't that first totally green day special?

Hopefully he'll get in a day 2...he sure is being a flat cat today!

Have a great Caturday Hellen

Just got his results back on the test for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. His levels were absolutely normal. Not even in the gray zone. So we have no idea why his poop looks the way it does. Maybe a food sensitivity? I might try moving him back on to the Wellness core Chicken, Turkey and Liver for a while and see how he does on that again. It's only very slightly higher in carbs. I don't think it matters at this point.

Maybe he just likes to be different...LOL

Great that he's normal, but I know you still have to wonder...but maybe that's just normal for him with the food changes.

Just when I think we are going to have a nice, smooth ride through greenland, Shadow throws me a 52 at +6. (We actually tested him 3 times on the same blood drop and got 47, 58 and then the 52). I gave him another 10cc of the 7%. His numbers don't have a reliable curve as far as I can tell. If someone more experienced than I could take a peek at his SS and help me decide where his nadir could be (or where to test to figure that out), I would appreciate it.

Re: 8/16 Shadow B PMPS+6=52, +7=61, +8=63 Help IDing Nadir?

You're doing a great job of testing! The only thing I can suggest is just to minimize your spreadsheet so you can see as much as possible on your screen (you only need to see the colors) and then looks for spaces where there's patches of white and try to get some tests sprinkled in at those times

If Shadow can maintain normal numbers (50-120) for a week on the .1, it might just be time to start an OTJ trial. Looks like from 8/14 on he's always been in those numbers (probably could add a couple more cycles to that for those low 120's, but I'd rather have him stay on insulin a couple extra cycles and get a strong remission, than rush a weak one and have him right back on insulin a few weeks or months from now.

I really think I see a party in Shadow's future! (anti-jinx)

Thanks! I hope his numbers stay good and we can give that a shot. He's really doing very well tonight. I can't wait to see where he is for AMPS.
