Happy Fursday!

Racci must have gone down to at least the 50's last night because even after eating 2.5 breakfasts she was still only 59 at AMPS! I didn't want to shoot that low & have to watch her that closely today because she's not eating that great so I fed a little more and gave all her other meds first & gave her time to come up before shooting.

Other than that, all p's in place. Racci's taking her morning nap after pooping and is her adorable self. She was very cute this morning when asking for her allotment of cream cheese. I always let her lick some from my finger when I eat my breakfast and today she lay down too far away for me to reach her and was just at that distance that would kill my back to reach her if I really tried. When I tried to tell her to move closer and that she was too far away, all words that she knows and usually listens to, she refused to move and instead, kept reaching out her paw and trying to pull my hand that had the cream cheese closer to her. :lol: I'm telling her no, get up and come closer, and she's being stubborn and trying to pull me closer to her! The little stinker! I just gave up after about 3 minutes of this & Finally I just pulled her closer so she could have her cream cheese since she wasn't going to do it! :lol:

Hope Racci has a safe green cruise today! I am laughing about meeting her halfway for the cream cheese, cats really wonder why we are so hard to train :smile:

I just finished updating Racci's SS except for the notes column. I still have to finish that one and some of the other quick notes. At least all the numbers are in though.

Looking at Racci's #'s the past few days, she has definitely gone back to her old nadir of +6. She has been +3 for so long and just like that changed again to +6. That's what she did when she first changed to +3 also. It's strange. I wonder what makes her switch her nadir? Does anyone know?

Isn't it strange, Rosy & Racci had the same AMPS of 59!
These fella must have planned! Shifting nadir? Tell me about it! After I pushed up Rosy's shooting time for 3 hrs so that I can better monitor her around nadir, she delayed her nadir by that 3 hrs. Now? It's all over the place! Really cannot understand how that tiny body works.
As long as they are in the green, try not to drive ourselves crazy figuring the reason. That's my two cents.

Hi Helen,

That's funny! I didn't notice they were both 59! And now Racci is 59 again for her nadir! She has used that number several times this week. I guess Rosy likes it too, huh? Rosy also changed her nadir to +6? It drives me nuts. Racci will be +6 for months then all of a sudden one day she's +3 instead and that's it from then on. Out of the clear blue sky a few months later, she decides to switch back again and all of a sudden she's +6 again!
The +6 is actually better for me if she would keep it. Who knows what they'll do from one day to the next tho!

It's a good thing I don't work any more! Did you change your work schedule?

Isn't that the truth, Liz! Come to think of it, I'm slave to a big human and another cute little human part of the week too! :lol:

Finally, her butt is nice and pretty and clear again! Yay!! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat Thanks for asking. The meds are amazing. Between the special powder, Neo-Pred-el and the ab, Orbax, they did the trick. She finished the ab''s yesterday but I'm still using the flush to clean her and the powder afterwards. Hopefully we'll go a little longer this time without her getting it back again! I have extra bottles of both meds in case I need it though so I don't have to lose any time in starting to treat it.

The little fluffball just came over to remind me that it's almost time to get her stuff ready for her meds and shot. She is such a clock watcher, my girl! She forgot I had to delay her AMps. :lol: I don't think she understands the concept of changing times. ;-)
I can't take it anymore. I can't resist the rubs, purrs and softness. It's a cuteness overload. TTYL

Moonie has an early nadir too--Hope Racci has great numbers tomorrow too & her butt nis all better-

What's going on with Racci's butt? I'm new to the whole case of the bottom caper.

But, glad to hear all is well for now.

That's really interesting about the nadir's switching like that. Something to watch out for.

Liz, I think you may be right. I never saw such a stickler for doing things on time and the way they're supposed to be done with no variations! I can't give the wrong medicine before the one that comes next or she shuts her mouth and refuses to cooperate until she gets the right one! If I want to delay her shot and give her food first, she turns her back to me and waits for the shot and refuses to eat yet. She's a riot! She comes to remind me at test and medicine times every time. :lol: The same thing with her food. She'll only eat one type of food and that's that. No sense of adventure. :lol:

Roni, they sure are something else! They know exactly what to do! How can you resist them when they look up at you with those gorgeous big eyes and rub all over you giving hugs and kisses, just all soft and silky?
Racci's nadir has been +3 now for months and now all of a sudden it's switching back again. Has Moonie always been early? Thanks & hugs & love back!!

Shai, poor Racci has this recurring staph infection on her butt. The vet says it's from moisture. I guess because she always keeps her tail tucked and she's fat and has rolls and such long fur, the moisture gets trapped there. I have to wash & dry and powder her every time she uses the lb & she still gets it back. She gets terrible painful little sores on and around her anus. Shes just getting over a case now. Luckily it didn't get bad this time. She gets infected blocked anal glands all the time too. Thanks for asking. You have a good night too!
