Good Morning World! Yesterday
AMPS 258
We're seeing an awful lot of high numbers lately - am wondering if our vial is getting weak. We're on the last 1/4th, we've been using it for over 3 months, started it on April 11th. I DO see changes in cycles and since his pancreas isn't working, the insulin HAS to be doing something.....doesn't it? I hate to dump ANY insulin if it's still good - dat stuff costs LOTS!
We have throwing up or not eating dogs everywhere. There's some type of stomach bug going around evidently and somehow we got it here. Vet says they're seeing about 3 times as many as normal over last couple of weeks. What in the world would cause this? It's not the food as they've eaten different kinds - mainly Alpo and Pedigree so that's not it. They (big vs little) get different treats so it's not that either. I started Metoc for nausea and amox for bugs today - hopefully it will be gone in 2-3 days.
We're starting the kitchen floor today - I'm not sure either of us feel like tackling it but we agreed that today would be THE day. I cleaned out most of everything last night - just have to move the china hutch and antique sewing machine elsewhere. We'll just have to keep moving the fridge and stove until we get it down under them.
Leo's in fine form - sitting in his crate hollering while Scruffy eats his daily chicken treat and lounges in his room for a bit. Der's nuttin' wrong with Leo's lungs!
HUGS to all that visit today!
