I can't believe it is Caturday already!!!! Our continued well wishes for Zener, Trix, JD, Sasha, Tiggy, Pikachu, Elise's Mom, and Molly's Mom & Dad and lots of prayers to Amy's Dad. Congrats to Rocky on moving to the Falls. GO TYLER!!! And our very deepest condolences to Emily at Prince's crossing.
Some of you wondered yesterday what Gracie would tell the AC about Lupita. Welllllllll......we've been there done that     Gracie doesn't like Lupita because our previous housekeeper, Cristina, was with us when Gracie was a tiny kitten. Gracie told our AC that Cristina used to sneak up on her and pick her up and hold her which was fine but it always startled her. In Gracie's mind, Cristina=Lupita. Plus she told the AC that Lupita is toooo loud and her voice hurts my ears!. Lupita is a wonderful soul and part of our family but she is pretty loud and her voice is very shrill. And....from early on, Lupita liked to pick Gracie up. Neither of them ever cornered her or made her uncomfortable. They just picked her up when she didn't expect it. Our LBG seems to be feeling well today. She's been playing and has all 5 Ps in place. She goes back to Dr. B on Thurs to recheck her labs so if we need to adjust the treatment, we can. Mike will take her.
Big, ugly bounce from the 32 yesterday. I'm hoping once she clears, she will flatten back out into her blues and greens. If she doesn't, we might need to consider upping the dose to where she doesn't bounce and then just be super vigilant in monitoring. I hate to do this right now with everything else she has going on. She sure enjoyed her extra food yesterday....esp the Cowboy Cookout.
Oh....one other cool thing!! I was in the backyard this morning watering plants, filling fountains, etc. In the far back corner of our yard, we have a large ramada. It's fashioned after the house...Santa Fe style....so it's flat roofed. We have a six foot high wall and there is a clearance of about 1 foot where the ramada extends over the wall. I'd been back and forth from the ramada to the yard and went back once more to water all the plants out there. I finished on one side, turned and started walking to the other, looked up, and Miss Joey the bobcat was lying on the top of the wall between the wall and the bottom of the ramada. She was less than five feet from me. I think she had been out there probably the whole time i had been because I never heard her jump up there and I usually do.....and I would have seen her. She was totally chill. Didn't bother her a bit that I was there but it startled the peediddly out of me     I froze. We made eye contact; I just stood there, she laid there. I talked to her. She laid there. Then I slowly backed out. She was still there when I came in the house. Guess we know whose yard it is
I'm off to run some errands while Missy G is up. I've got a few items to pick up for my trip and a few things to get to leave with Mike....like cat fud. Have a great day.
