AMPS 340 shooting 1.75u

Hoping that Boomer starts to work the juice yesterday. Yesterday was a bit of a strange cycle. Will test at +2 this morning.

Boomer ate all of his overnight fuds. Allen ate a bit better last night; yesterday he didn't eat much at all so last night I gave him two dishes of his favourite chicken pate (instead of one being turkey pate).

Nothing much going on here today other than a hair appointment this afternoon and newborn editing to do.

I thought he might choose today to dive but not so far although he is a wee bit lower at +2 which is a bit unusual (he's usually level or slightly higher than at PS).

Any chance of getting a later night test, even if it's when you get up to stir the food? His one low a while ago was middle of the night Nd it would be nice to see if he is least finding blue on this dose, which would mean holding another day.

I told him a while ago....you get me up you get poked. I don't think he's got me up since lol.
I'll see what he is at PMPS and +3 tonight. I think he probably saw blue 2 nights ago and I had every intention of getting up at +5 or +6 to check him and I forgot to set my alarm
So I shouldn't increase if he sees blue? Or give it an additional day if he sees blue?

I have a silly question.... what changed from a month ago? boomer was doing amazing on .25. I know things change and I am new, but is it possible that those numbers in the day are bounces from too low BG during the night? reason I am saying that is the couple times where BG was tested after +3 in PM cycle BG were low, in the green or lime.... So I am thinking that maybe Boomer is going too low over night. Novice me is thinking dose is too high not too low... am I making any sense????

Boomer was on 1.25 units until his dental. The dose was changed to 0.25 units after dental, his pancreas likely wasn't ready for that drop in insulin and got tired. Since then, a little glucose toxicity. At least that's my theory.
