She wanted to be tested in her old foster room, so that was annoying! LOL She ate about 2 oz of chicken pate soup in 2 servings, plus for some reason I doubled her freeze-dried post-test treat amount, so she's eaten a decent amount, I guess. I'm not really sure how to calculate the freeze-dried (as opposed to dehydrated) as a portion of what she should be eating.

I'll take her just eating. Do you happen to have a baby scale that you can periodically weigh her? I have a flame point meezer that use to drive me nuts because he wouldn't eat as much as his blue point litter mate until I started weighing him and realized he was maintaining his weight. He just was very good at self regulating his food intake to keep his boyish figure.

Happy to see her working on her tan in nice sunny yellow.

I want to see her frolicking at the pool with the other kitties!

I don't have a baby scale, but I do what I've done in the past with my other cats: weigh myself, then pick up cat and weigh again. Or the other way around. She definitely felt lighter to me when she came back from Jenna's. Poor Jenna had such food struggles with her, too! I'll get her weight tonight.

You weigh like I do. Hoping we find she is just a little bird eater and is just keeping her girlish figure.

hi Amy
hope she goes swimming soon. great that she is eating.

Thanks, Nadine!

Good grief, this cat confounds me! I thought her 428 at +10 might have been an error, since the blood drop was juuuuust big enough to fill the strip, but 360 at +12 seems to say maybe not. Though I don't get why she dropped between +10 and +12 - shouldn't she have been rising? Also, that number says to me "massive carb loan injested", but there were no massive carbs for her TO injest! Just her ignored Sheba pate beef & chicken. Arrrrrgggggghhhhh.

I meant to give her .2 u tonight, but I squished out too much and didn't want to poke the needle back into the pen, so she got .1u. I can tell that getting .25u consistently is going to be a problem, though I've been okay with .1u. How weird is that?

Weighed her at +10, too: 9.5lbs. I think she was up to 10.5 lbs at the last vet visit, but I think that's too much for her, anyway.
