Good Morning, Everyone,

After a string of numbers in the 50s yesterday, the LagoonMeister is starting out the day in the lagoon. Surf safe, Rusty: your beans have a paddle today! He had a good night, good test, an "ouchie" shot (but it all got in), 1st sitting of breakfast, a delicious lung treat, a schmooze, and he is still on the couch. It was 45 degrees here this morning. But we don't have heat on, so Rusty is napping under a lamp!!

The carpenters will not be here today. Of course, it is a perfect painting day, but they both need to finish work on another job. (This is typical contractor behavior here in the North Country.) So hopefully they will finish the house tomorrow. In the meantime, it is nice to be able to use the porch again (all of the rest of the painting is on the outside of the house).

The beans are paddling today on the Upper Osgood River with the group. It may be very windy.

Back in the mid afternoon. Rusty will have plenty of food to graze on.

Wishing all a good "Fursday" and will continue this condo this afternoon.

What a great green start for Rusty! :mrgreen: That is how contractors do huh? I hope they get it all finished up soon. Enjoy your paddle today!

Enjoy your day Ella, I hope the wind settles down for you and the paddle is great fun. good luck with the contractors. I think they always have "one little job to finish first".. cat(2)_steam

I'm happy Rusty is doing great! Nice AMPS.
It's so cute he sleeps under a lamp when he's a little chilly. :-D

It's not any different with contractors here in the west/southwest....
they get the contract.... and then they show up haphazardly.... work on you today, work somewhere else tomorrow.... finish you some day out on the horizon.....


Hope Rusty surfed the lagoon all day.... :mrgreen:

Hi again,
The beans had a great, if very windy, paddle. It was cold out on the water! Rusty slept all day, I think. He may be slightly under the weather. There was a small scarf 'n barf-type vomit on the floor near his breakfast bowl. And he apparently slept through his lunch (which was served by his automat but not eaten). I think the lower numbers are having an effect on him (but today's numbers were not very low, so who knows). In any event, he was glad to see us and to have some outdoor time. We all sat on the front porch before dinner. He grazed at his dinner (as is his custom). We'll see what he does this evening. He may be tired of his fuds. Only the freeze-dried chicken treats and the "lung treat" were eaten with enthusiasm today.

I hope everyone had a fine Fursday. To visit some condos now.

Nice and flat and normal numbers - well done, Rusty! I hope you didn't get too cold on the paddle. How many layers? Do you take a thermos for a hot drink?

Rusty had a better evening and we are turning in.

Liz: Yep, we always have a thermos of coffee on our excursions, even in hot weather. Coffee is an energy drink!
