Turned off the overnight-test alarm w/o even being aware of it beeping! Overslept my bazooka alarm this morning. Whew, dash and slash to get T/F/S done on time! Praise be I have a week of vacation starting NOW.

Miss Polly is feeling fine. Eating well, and often begging for snacks at all hours! (The begging predates her FD diagnosis; she's always been the little gobbler.)

Making arrangements for our Colorado road trip. Trying to teach the girl the lyrics to Rocky Mountain High. Hey, if she's going to sing, it might as well be something in keeping with the trip.

What a lovely set of blues today! Neko always had a good appetite all her life. A few months before Dx I caught her sampling banana bread, blueberry muffins and a baguette. Should have been a clue something was off. :roll:

I've been meaning to mention that Polly's pic in her profile reminds me so much of Neko's facial features. Gorgeous, but I am biased.

Got any short test trips planned with Polly? One member, Tracy/Leo tried desensitizing with couple hour road trips before going to CSU.

I can't even tell you how many times I have slept through alarms!! It is the worst!!!! Skooter is getting better at training me though

Thanks for the visit. When are you taking Polly to Colorado? How long a drive is it? I think it's smart to try and get her used to the car. Max is so scared of everything it would be tough.

Lovely blues today. Sometimes, when they are flat like that, it means an active cycle is coming up, so beware tomorrow!

Have you travelled with Polly before? Car trips with a cat can be a real...um...adventure. I hope it will go well for you both.

Ah, the alarms.....I can't tell you how many times I've hit the snooze bar and not even realized it. It's amazing, isn't it?

I hope your travels go well, and she sings happily with you while you're on the road. Thank you for your support, too, Marilyn...it has been a tremendous comfort. That was an interesting note about the port location. I know my Dad's local oncologist gestured that it would be on the left when he was explaining the procedure. I wonder if there's a medical reason for that, or if it's just standard procedure??
